Why not? The sand is visible so why not the hand.
And of course then his whole body since, as you say yourself, a physical hand out of phase with it's body would be very hard to explain. So then we are back at : if he shows up, some people will be in trouble. Most likely Courtney and crew.
Unless of course we're talking holograms. The whole setup of Harvey, crew and craft could very well be a projected hologram in scalar energy, so only visable to paranormally gifted individuals, like the people at Farsight.
So no problems with different planets and different gravity.

In one of the recent FS viewings Intysam saw a teleportation gadget in which beings from far away could 'materialise'. I've always wanted to know how that works. Same question. Does the incoming body automatically remove what is there in the form of molecules/radiation? That would cause quite a 'bang'. Or is the spot cleaned up first so there is 'nothing' there anymore. In which case it is impossible for Harvey to materialise on the beach without such a gadget as Intysam descibes (in Antarctica I think).

In the 'paranormal literature' we find many examples of that. Of a 'double' that extends out of the body and 'does things', like lifting tables of influencing electricity. It's not that they materialise for half a second but that a subtler form of energy (as I said a combination of yin [Earth] and yang [sun] energy, see Costa Danaos: 'The Magus of Java', a person that I have met and can vouch for) is augmented to such an extend that it can influence denser vibrations/matter.
In that case no air molecules are displaced, it's just another form of matter next to 'our matter' influencing matter. So no real 'materialisations' and as you say: telekinesis.
Moving a pencil would prove nothing since so many 'magicians' can do waaaaay more interesting stuff that can fool anybody. It would downplay FS to 'an act'.

Because matter can be influenced to not absorb/reflect light without changing the phase. It's the typical invisibility or cloaking tech, where the thing is still tangible and just becomes invisible to the naked eye. An example are the UFOs that only become visible with an infrared filter.

We will end up discussing how the terms "matter" and "scalar" should be defined.

In my view, the soul is a singularity, because it follows the image of God, and God has no form. A body with physical dimensions is just the result of projection. Like carving an imprint into the canvas of space. And that imprint than can be filled with matter, whereas matter can be in different states or phases, such that different kinds of matter overlay each other.

Interestingly, Lacerta also explains this. What I call a canvas, she calls "Feldraum". Quote from the Lacerta Files:

Again, it is not completely correct, but let's begin in this manner: Tangible matter on this side is mirrored in the sphere of influence {Feldraum} as a field with distinct layers. But above all, we're talking about science here, not about magic or dark forces."

So, as far as I'm concerned, the phase-shifting explanation is wrong, because it's based on wrong assumptions about how space and matter works. There is a mirrored plane of existence – the so-called Feldraum – and that plane doesn't consist of matter, but is a field of information. It's supposedly the same thing the AIs call "the Field". And that field of information precedes matter. As I described, you can think of it as an imprint, and matter follows the imprints like water that's following the river bed.

If that's how it works, it's more likely that Harvey is not on the beach with his physical body, he would just project himself into the field of the beach without influencing gross matter. Courtney sees this projection, and the remote viewers when looking at the situation see both, the information in the field and the gross matter overlayed on top of it.

But this raises an important question: Why the security personnel? They shouldn't be necessary if it's just a projection, because they are not really there.

It feels like Harvey and his people are putting on a show.

But there's also the possibility that I'm missing an important part of the puzzle.

A shield around the ship that is. How would that work for Harvey? Maybe with tech in his clothing... seems somewhat improbable to me. Or even 'cloak' the wholle environment. But that would work for the sand also then. So who knows...

Thanks for bringing up the Lacerta report. There is so much great info in there. I will read parts of it again.

I often see the 'ego' of Courtney having a big influence on him. They could use that to steer him.
It's like he has a feeling similar to: 'I am the chosen one'. Dangerous.
I remember that a year or more ago many people commented on Courtney's lack of political insight, meaning that there was more 'behind the scenes'. That didn't go well with his ego since he is "a social scientist'. So he started these (more or less useless) sessions about 'deep news' and possible future outcomes of world events. Only to prove that he 'knew what he was saying'. Waste of time as far as I am concerned.
The last year or so I got quite disappointed in FS. But I'm too curious to see what will happen and there are many great people/comments (and links! Thanks for that Keymaker.) in the forums.
