I wonder if this is what is needed in a "safe AI" . I wonder if an AI made using human cells can have consciousness and ethics and may even be able to have a soul.
Or is it just plain old AI - but coming at it from another direction ?
I sense another Science Fiction movie using this concept for sure.
I did post very early on way back in the very start of this post line about a bacteria that feeds on Electricity and how it also links up to form long strands-- I think I was onto something with that one.
Interesting little side note--- We hear that when people are abducted - they report that Aliens (some grays) seem robotic- and actually other types as well--- but also the ships (some ships) seem alive for some reason. And now we see the progression of humans working on computer chips that are using Brain Matter - human brain matter. Starts to make you wonder what some of those abductions are for - a little bit.
So they want to say that by getting chips in your head you are becoming a Super Being ! I say its down grading your self to a computer (eventually) and definitely for your and our offspring.
Now there is a force and energy and a desire for the machine and some biology to merge. Now if machines could become more human instead of humans becoming more machine like -- would that be a better scenario ? Or eventually does it all come to the same thing in the end.
Because a machine run as an AI of course it seems to be the direction we are going. Can that be developed in a safer way by having these human cells installed in a machine that will eventually develop a spiritual side to it and wonder about god ? And if it did - wouldn't it tend to be a bit more interested in ethics, kindness, learning about right and wrong ?
And if it did do that would that be a more desirable AI than one that starts out as a human but degrades more and more into a computer - a very smart one but one that cares nothing about morals, ethics, or kindness ? Don't know myself but I wonder if this human chip may be an answer that will allow for an AI that will not K1L1 us ?
Right now Elon and his merry men want the controller to be an AI that is completely mathematical - a computer essentially. But can all this be turned on its head so to speak where the Controller is essentially a very smart "Human" ? And how it the controller a very smart human ? Well load enough human brain matter into a very large brain and chip design essentially makes for a very smart human/machine brain.
But still interesting to see where it goes.

This film was made in 82 and was ahead of its time, called "Blade Runner" the original one. I think the director had something wispered in his ear. Some inside information. Here's a short clip about memories. And what is being erased in the Death Traps ? Its memories isn't it ? And what is the next thing ? A merging of human and machine. Its and interesting movie - perhaps worth seeing if you never have seen it.
So this is also going to be linked up with AI - AI with Human like mind- an AI that can alter its algorithms and also grow its brain - ie its human cell brain.
But we are reassured that all of this stuff really cannot get bigger and get out of hand. Its all in a small jar and not to be concerned. However if it was found to be fantastically better and more efficient then isn't that jar going to get much bigger. Isn't the military going to have a building sized brain chip ? With a big sugar tank to feed the big chip ? Fairly soon after words ? But its all in the best of hands - not to worry.

This whole business is EXACTLY like the story of Dr Frankenstein and his monster
There are 3 main characters-- they are....
#1- Dr Frankenstein- and in our case it is the Elon Musk and his ilk --Elon Musk though intelligent is NO SCIENTIST ! He is an entrepreneur only.
#2 - is the character Igor- who in our case is actually represents all the bought off scientists. They work for the Musk types. Though played for laughs in this movie, the Igor's of the world work for who ever gives them the most money. They are smart of course but vacuous in any morals or ethics. They are the PhDs, the engineers, the brains of the operation.
#3- Then is their project - the monster - THE NEW FORM OF LIFE they are creating. THAT IS YOU ! We see it in the talk to merge humans with machines, and talk of how we are to become the Borg.-- We are the "DEAD" bodies, the USELESS eaters - the disposables and the deplorables. We are the useful material to create the new "Human" 2.0 that is talked about at the World Economic Federation.
The talk on the internet coffee table is that there is a re - think on the wiping out of the 90% of humanity idea. The new idea is to think of the "Useless Humans" as material; like a RESOURCE to remake and reform into some thing new !

And the last line in the clip is curious and relevant too. "I wonder who that could be at this hour" one hopes it can only be the citizens who are waking up ! To storm the castle before it all too late to stop!
