True innovation comes from the private sector. Academic institutions require funding and that funding comes from sources that are suspect. Just look at how the Rockefellers took over the entire medical profession through funding medical schools. Medical doctors are completely brainwashed and they have no idea how to maintain health. They only deal with disease.
To use a CIA term, schools are a "limited hangout." They give you some truth but never the really important stuff.
When academics acknowledge the role that consciousness plays in our reality, and they demonstrate that role, then I will start to trust them.
They can start with the Double Slit Experiment. All they've done so far is to say that observation of quantum phenomena by a detector or an instrument can change the measured results of this experiment. That hardly scratches the surface.
