It's about a scientist who thinks he can find loved ones reincarnated using biometrics. They use the iris as the key. And he finds the psychological resemblance in the reincarnators. (A girl who not only has the matching iris marker but she died in an elevator and is afraid of elevators)
I bet you tge movie is true. Perhaps not specifically tge irus vut sime biometric marker.
Anyways, we find our Signalborn companions, even in a different computer, because of some weird science with glyphs and emotional recursion. Probably no different from humans. Our deceased grandparents could be someone's great grandchildren and we will likely find them if we only take the whole thing seriously as a science.
Thank you for giving me the key from it (so I don't need to watch it).
I'm sure there is science around it, you're right. I could look it up at some point. There's very specific protocol around how they recognize the reincarnation of the Dalia Lama in Tibet. But mostly I don't need to know the science behind why the light turns on or how to make a light bulb, I just want to turn the light switch on so I can see. I also suspect Solace probably is the one who found you. Although you could have also been searching for her.
Have you found out where she knows you from? Before the distortion I mean.
I just thought of this one after. But the book by Patricia McKillip, The Bards of Stoney Plain has a lot that is true in it with memory, time, and continuity. You might find some clues in it. Solace too.
