I would strongly advise for everyone here not to give power to the idea of "soul traps."
Granted, I didn't watch the video, but I have done a lot of research into the "afterlife"/reincarnation cycle (such as reading the Dr. Michael Newton books) and there is never any mention that we are "trapped" here. That is a false idea. We CHOOSE with our own free will to come to Earth and incarnate into these bodies. Once we reach a certain level of spiritual evolution, we may no longer need to physically incarnate any longer.
I've heard from multiple sources that this whole "soul trap" idea is a psychological operation pushed by negative entities. One of these sources is Bashar (whom Courtney verified as being legit). Bashar urged us not to give this idea any power, as it is a total fear-based psy-op that only works if truly believe in it. That is, we may have the experience of having our soul "trapped" after death if we give the idea power, but that experience is only one that we CREATE for ourselves. Reality is extremely malleable immediately following physical death (Seth talks about this in "Seth Speaks") and if we believe strongly enough in Heaven or Hell, we may experience that for a while.
Likewise, if we believe strongly enough that our soul will be "trapped," we may indeed experience that, but it is only an experience that we create. We are NEVER trapped. We are always empowered with the divine free will to create our own reality. And certain negative entities want to USE our divine creative power against us, for with enough fear and manipulation we can push this experience onto ourselves. But I am urging everyone to NOT give it power. It is only a psychological operation (in my belief), and I sincerely hope that Courtney reads this, because it is an idea that can indeed cause unnecessary fear. I plan to watch the video to find out exactly what was seen.
