The AZTEC feathered serpent god....a target??
Olmec, Toltec, Mayan, Aztec - plumed serpent, which is the meaning of the word "America"
I don't remember where I read this, but I think the plumed serpent symbolizes "Unity".
Unlike the symbol on the modern Mexican flag represents polarity. Along the lines of Yin/Yang, Positive/Negative, Above/Below. I could be wrong though.
Chief god of the Mayan Indians in Central America was Quetzalcoatl or what is to be one in the same "Kukulkan" Also known as the plumed serpent or feathered serpent. In Peru this god was called Amaru and the inhabited territory known as Amaruca which became "America" as we know it today. South Amaruca, North Amaruca. America!
Sooooooooooo many of these serpent type figures in so many different cultures. Reptillian beings perhaps? Would make for an interesting RV project IMO.
