In another thread we had discussed Thoth as the bird man. I thought I would start a new thread discussing the connection between bird man symbolism and ancient sites. Sorry its a long read, I'm not a writer, and its been years since I have been involved in any forums. I feel compelled to share my work at this time.
Hello again, I don't think the bird man alien is Egyptian symbolism referencing the characteristics of Thoth in my opinion. Strange thing is there seems to be a reincarnation lineage line for Thoth, such as Hermes, Hermes Trismegistus (thrice great), Roman God Mercury, all the way to John the Baptist, and possibly forward. Does Thoth/Hermes walk amongst us today?
I also found it very curious in the Bible where Jesus mentions John the Baptist as, “the greatest man to ever walk the earth, yet least angel in heaven is he”. Who was the least god in the Greek pantheon of gods? Hermes! Or to the Romans, Mercury the messenger was the least god or we could say least angel in the heavens just as the planet Mercury itself is the least or less or the smallest planet in our solar system. Anyway more proof the bible is double speak and a mix of Hebrew, Greek and Roman classics. They were masters of mind games after all, especially the Romans. Romans were the masters of rhuderic after all, much like our politicians today.
Bible is a mix, no doubt, much of it folklore history. There are pearls there, but I think anyone who has truly studied the bible understands the manipulations which unfortunately turned into a book of riddles and mind games. Mixing truth and wisdom with lies and distortions makes for good propaganda and is the definition of it. We don’t even know if Jesus really existed at all. There is new research that indicates this was all in an effort by the Romans to control the very violent Hebrews and turning them into a manageable society that would now “turn the other cheek”. Read up on the Roman Vespasian brothers and their manipulations to subdue the masses.
Me personally, I don’t believe Jesus existed at all in the way it was written, there was a man, but was from India and went by the name of Emanuel and lived to be 110 years old. No miracle, just attentive when nursing, knowledgeable in eastern philosophies and medicine. The Jesus thing makes for a good mind trap, or should we say, soul trap, going up to heaven to meet Jesus and getting zapped and becoming a mindless dumbass again for another incarnation round of suffering and frustration as we try to figure it all out again, who am I, where did we come from, etc. That pesky question no one seems to be able to answer, it was probably set up that way, we were never supposes to find that answer in the mind\soul trap.
Anyway, Bird man symbolism along with serpents or a combined creature symbolism has been found all over the world from the Mayans, Aztecs, mound builders of America, Sumerians, Hittites, and many other cultures and civilizations throughout time. Birds are from the genetic lineage of reptiles after all.
Easter Island was of particular interest to me some years ago and I was fascinated by the bird man competition held every year for hundreds of years, maybe thousands of years up until a few hundred years ago. The Rapa nui warriors of the tribe or tribes (as there were divisions in the population or a few separate groups) would prepare for this annual completion to see who would be next ruler/priest over the tribe(s) for the next year. The winner was known as not just the leader, but the spiritual leader, the bird man, going on a special diet where they practically starved and spending much time in isolation from the rest of the tribe(s) in solitude and contemplation. It didn’t seem like they won anything but misery as this position was a matter of sacrificing one’s own normal existence, but they were in charge for that year.
The competition for this position consisted of climbing down the cliffs of Easter Island, swimming a mile or so to the near island, can’t remember the name. They then would climb up the cliffs of this island until they found the nest of a local bird, the sooty tern, grab an egg from the nest and place it in their mouth for safe keeping. Then climb back down, swim back to Easter Island, climb back up the cliffs and the first one to deliver the sooty tern egg, unbroken, with the egg resting in the palm of the hand face up, to the present bird man\priest, they then would become the new “bird man\ spiritual leader.
Easter Island is of course known for the giant statues with some having a funny looking hat on them. It’s rumored, but not proven the Rapa nui carved and hauled the stones to their present locations around the Island. I personally do not believe this to be true. Archeologists assume that the natives used up all the trees on the island during this process of moving the large statues. I also believe this not to be true. It is more likely that the present Eastern Islanders were transplants that came at a much later date. Granted all the trees disappeared, but I find it more likely that the trees were used up for various other reasons, I believe most of the trees were used up for building fires and cooking food. From what I remember the statues are representations of the giant red heads, or referred to as the watchers. Out of the 888 or so statues only a few were basalt rock which is nowhere on the island to be quarried. However there is basalt rock out in the ocean not far from Easter island. There are statues of these giants like the ones on the island found out in the ocean under water made of basalt a few miles out from the island. This did not make sense to me at the time at all. How could anyone quarry and carve giant statues under water? Maybe the basalt statues where transported from another location and happen to sink during a storm? Why were there statues underwater a few miles out from Easter island? The only conclusion I could come to is areas underwater where basalt is located must not have been underwater at the time.
We now know the Younger Dryas Event some 14,000 years ago, where a large asteroid came in and slammed into Greenland and melting the great America Ice sheet caused a sea level rise of some 300 feet. Or the great flood or one of two floods that made sea levels rise. Many coastal cities were destroyed and we are starting to find evidence of these cities which are still hundreds of feet under the ocean. I believe Easter Island was part of a much greater land mass and was high ground or a mountain, which it is, as there is an old volcano crater on the island. The present cliffs of Easter island is the result of the erosion of the mountain volcano and is all that is left of the greater land mass that once was.
Anyway getting back to the bird man and Gobekli Tepe, there is a carving on one of the T shaped pillars that depict a few birds in a caricature type fashion with the infamous man bags depicted up above in the stone carving. When this T shaped pillar was photographed and published on the web, it blew me away as it depicts a bird, wing out, just like the palm out, face up, delivering the egg, or we could say “world egg”. Some say this represents an asteroid strike of on the t shaped pillar, I say it’s an egg being delivered palm or wing up. There must be a relationship between Easter island and Gobekli Tepe I concluded. Now with the RV read of Gobekli Tepe, maybe it was the same bird man alien that created both sites.
As far as the giant statues go, the ones with the “hats” are representations of the red headed giants and the hats are not hats at all, but their long red hair wrapped around their elongated skulls. I believe the giants where created to be watchers/rulers/priestly class over mankind. The genetics we got back on the elongated skulls of Peru was ¼ middle eastern decent, 1/4 eastern Europe and the other half, not human, they were in fact hybrids. Humans are really not known for double rows of teeth, 6 fingers and toes or having 25% larger brain cavity. Skull binding or boarding does not increase the brains size nor does it eliminate skull suture lines or where the neck attaches to the skull. There is many interesting stories from Native American tribes about red headed giants and there battles with them. Its seems there came a time where the Giants went bad or what appears to be a survival situation within the giant groups themselves perhaps brought on by climate change and therefor lack of food. Giants would need more calories and it is said in these American Indian legends that these giants began to eat humans. Some tribes were tricked into giving members of the tribe to the giants in some sort of religious trickery, but were never seen again. Some tribes caught on to this and realized that these giants were not gods and began to battle with them. Some stories flat out talk about how some of the giants just became marauders, invading villages and killing and grabbing whoever they could to bring home and eat. Lubbock cave is one the famous stories of the Indians hunting down local giants and burning brush in front of their cave, shooting arrows at the giants to keep them in the cave to suffocate.
Humans tend to mimic things and events based on superstition or religious fever, thus mimicking the “gods” by elongating their own skulls. Many of the tribes over the centuries had a religious sect or class of humans with elongated heads, bounded, banded or boarded skull deformations, they were often considered the “priestly class”. From what I understand this priestly class don’t exist anymore but the practice of tribes who do head binding or boarding is still practice by everyday ordinary natives.
We do have modern examples of humans mimicking objects or other creatures, such as the case of the natives on the islands off the coast of Papua New Guinee. During World War 2, American soldiers flew in and created air bases on some of the islands in the effort to fight Japan. 50 years later when a group of Americans had returned to the islands they were shocked to find the same natives and their decedents worshiping an effigy of an airplane made from bamboo and palmetto leaves. When asked why they were worshiping a bamboo airplane by an interpreter, their reply was they were waiting for the gods to return in their flying craft and deliver the delicious food out of metal cans! So we can clearly see how humans who may not understand what they are witnessing and their personal experience with other beings, human or not, can foster a new religion.
Easter Island I believe (speculate) is most likely the remains of the ancient civilization of Mu. Much like Atlantis and probably existed near the same time and possibly went through the same or similar extinction event.
From Wikipedia; The Tangata manu ("bird-man," from tangata "human beings" + manu "bird")
Clearly a human combined with the representation of the bird, or the human representing the bird man that came from the sky? I think we can say yes!
I had speculated there was a link between Easter Island and Gobekli Tepe some time back when the pics of Gobekli Tepe were published online. So now I will show you what I saw. I have a library of better pictures than the linked pictures below, as soon as I can upload them to the cloud I will give you a link. Unfortunately my upload speed is about a 100th of meg per second. So web based picture links will have to do for now.
Was the “bird alien” in the RV who was allegedly building Gobekli Tepe installing a new religion for the peoples of that area in Turkey? The same religion installed other places with mysterious ancient temples? It looks that way to me.
Some have speculated that this image from Gobekli Tepe depicts an asteroid event, the bird and the asteroid. I strongly disagree. What we are seeing here is what is already depicted around the world with either a bird or snake presenting the “world egg” in my opinion.
Notice the bird men at the top of one of the most important statues from Easter Island. This statue (Hoa Hakananai) resides in the British museum. This statue is made of basalt rock (much harder than the other statues) which is not on the island, but basalt is found a few miles out underwater from the island. Perhaps the image carved in basalt for a longer lasting carving, to save for providence sake? Probably. Notice the bird men at the top of this statue? Builders of Easter Island statues, the real bird man aliens?
