Hello everyone, I have been hanging on to some research on the Eye of the Sarah. Time gets away from me, been very busy last few months.
Some claim the Richat structure (Eye of the Sahara) is the fabled Atlantis. One reason is because of Plato’s description of the colors of stone and that Atlantis is located beyond the Pillars of Hercules, which I suppose the eye of the Sahara could be qualifier. I personally don’t believe it was Atlantis, but it’s possible I suppose. There was water there at one time. Could all of the stories of our ancient past describing great wars and destruction be a cover story for angry aliens blasting the hell out of civilization? We humans always get the blame, like we need to feel guilty about it.

I watched a bunch of videos on You Tube after the RV session on the Eye of the Sahara and found some interesting anomalies. The most interesting videos on the area are from a You Tube channel called “indie archeology”. Long videos but you get a feel for the place. Every stone looks shattered. All the stone look to be blasted in an outward pattern. I did notice possible vitrified stone. I couldn’t see one fashioned stone in any of the videos except one, where indie archeology points to a possible man made rectangular block jammed into the hillside. Hard to tell if it was man made or not, but is certainly interesting.
There are videos of Google earth that show what look to be foundations or at least remnants of old buildings or forts. It’s hard to say when they were exactly built. Could have been before the event, could have been after the event thousands of years later.
Next is a picture of possible vitrified rock or stones. Stones that underwent extreme heating where outside layers of the stone turn to glass.
What I personally found most interesting is the screenshot I took of this granite handle. Its looks to be very similar to the carved granite pitchers, bowls and vases carved out of solid stone located in Egypt. These carved granite and diorite stone artifacts in Egypt are a real mystery. Some of the hardest stones on earth, carved with precision, certainly look to be machine made or high technology. YouTuber “Indie Archeology” was actually able to purchase this item along with a few others. He also had a small vase dated, it was 2000 years old. There is a pile of stuff in the video a local found and it’s hard to say if they are all from the same time period. I suspect not.
