I watched those intelligence briefing videos on photographing UFOs where the photographic equipment used by Farsight is discussed. Somewhere in the video Courtney Brown explains that on March they will be an explanation on how to use your cell phone to do the recordings. I watched the video on March 2023, but I did not see that explanation. Is that explanation in a different video. Did I miss something? Please clarify. Courtney Brown mentioned an app for the cell phone and possibly a filter. What do I need to start recording UFOs with my iphone?

Hey Jorge, Posted this on another thread but will repost to hopefully answer your question. My phone is an iPhone 12 ProMax. Bought an adaptor available on Amazon from Moment. It secures the 67mm 720nm IR filter lens (from Amazon) in front of the lenses. When shooting I use an existing setting on the phone called Slo Mo. it gives HD quality video but at 240 FPS. Works fine but many prefer to shoot not quite as fast at say 200 FPS from different posts. A 1 minute recording uses 480MB so bought a lightning adaptor (on Amazon) that adds a TB of external storage and has an attachment to plug into the USBc port of my laptop for editing. I can record directly onto to the flash drive or camera. Sometimes don’t have the drive with me and record directly on phone, air drop it to computer, and then erase file on phone. There are better setups you can do but got Moment attachment, lens, and drive for about $150. Don’t use a tripod as just hit record and lay on face on outside table. Partly cloudy days seem to offer best opportunity for clearer image capture. Clear blue skies with this setup gets little.

Thanks very much for your detailed explanation. I appreciate it very much. I live in Southern California in the Los Angeles area and lately we are having gloomy mornings with overcast days. Hopefully it won't last and I can record the UFOs in my area.
