As you probably noted, I already posted my very limited knowledge (under a recent video from FS) about this from Ingo Swann and a clairvoyant that I knew. If not I will post it here, Just ask.

About the tech: Ingo Swann, the famous RV originator, has written a book "Psychic Sexuality", in which he describes a technique that the Mahatma's use for themselves and their disciples in temples in India.
Ingo also used it in a scientific setting (Elmer and Alyce Green, Menninger Foundation) and in no time (few days of two hours a day) it opened up his chackra's to such an extend that he could not turn it off. It took him a year to learn to control it. You have to read it for yourself (page 163) but here's the gist: on a north wall of a quiet room in a temple, the entire wall is covered with a metal sheet, mainly copper, polished. You sit on a little stool that is insulated from the ground/earth by a thick glass 'vessel'. Above the crown of your head, but not touching it, there is a strong magnet with the north pole up (females: south pole up). You start with gazing at the wall and then see what happens.
Also about the tech: I have had contact, a couple of times, with a very gifted clairvoyant. He used to sit under a kind of umbrella from copper. It was about 1 meter in diameter and suspended from the ceiling. He told me there was also silver and gold in it. The gold on top I remember. He had designed it himself. He said it improved his clairvoyance and he could use it to 'cleanse' himself. He is deceased now and stayed away from the 'spotlight'. So I have no more info than that about the 'umbrella'.
Thanks for that... I haven't read Psychic Sexuality - only a couple of his others (It was Penetration that got me more interested in the RV!)
Psychic Sexuality is really a great read. In that sense that in the second half he describes things he sees, unbelievable. It's literally eye opening (you'll get that if you read it). A whole new world opens up. Reality is sooooo much more complicated than we think. And yes, 'Penetration' was great :-)
Although its not a tech being used except for measurements and scientific research, maybe you could start exploring Dr. Joe Dispenza methods for OBE's and measuring of the energy fields from the body and outside of it. He teaches people all over the world on how to do it through meditation and he gives a good amount of scientific knowledge on that. One of the key aspects to the training he does is about Coherence of the energy centers, like many yoga practitioners do.. to being the chackras points into balance and with the experiences of mediation are more heightened. What he calls the Heart-brain coherence.

I just remember: my (extremely gifted clairvoyant) teacher told me that the best way to awaken the energy inside of you (kundalini) is through sitting int the double lotus for many hours. He advised 8 hours a day. He emphesised the word 'double'. It's pretty essential to have both feet on the ties. You then have a 'flying machine' as he called it. It's true that since then, when I saw photo's of really gifted masters/teachers they often sat in the double lotus.
When I asked about sleeping he said that when you meditate for 8 hours a day "you don't sleep anymore".
He also said that this is not for most people. Most people cannot stand the energy that then starts to rise.
He also said that I was someone who could stand this energy and that I was free to start it whenever I felt ready. I am however for the moment too busy living, haha..He warned me also that I should'nt wait too long, for health is also a factor in being able to meditate for long hours.
I guess this method is only for certain people. Tech might be just as intersting to explore.
Oh, one more thing. Sitting in this position you focus your attention on the 1th chackra. So the base of the spine. You can 'feel' the spot. If you have a mantra that would be helpful. I got the mantra: Shree, Shree, Ainga Nama.
Double lotus??? bwahahahahahaaaaa.... I can't even get into single these days!
TBH, I don't see much point in just sitting around meditating for 8 hours a day... "But, you can get to a higher level of consciousness"... yeah, but for what?
"So you can reach/connect with godhood"... again, but for what?
I don't think the purpose of existing is to stop existing. (Just like, getting out of the DTs and the forced incarnation cycle doesn't mean not living on Earth)
Going through your comment: Yes, the double lotus is not for everyone. I got knee problems with it so one more reason not to persue that. My take on that is that you have to live a healthy life so you can still manage a double lotus and then at 75 you partly retract from the world and start with this kind of excersize (probably wrong spelling, haha).
The point: well gettiing into pure bliss states, feeling and understanding the oneness of everything, going out of your body at will, things like that so you can become an example and source of understading for others. But then again: after having lived a fullfilled life. That's where the problem lies in Kali Yuga. We are so unfulfilled that we are not going to 'waste time' doing something very unfulfilling like just sitting for hours.
Yes, great point about the DT. I really hope to live one more fulfilling life on earth without worries about the DT's.
