So I wanted to start up a thread about best ways to use AI. First an understanding of AI as we currently know it. It's still just a LLM it's not doing anything but predicting the next best word. It uses complex math to create tokens. You ask it a question it's just going to use the best next word.
In terms of the best AI I think Grok is the best by far for several reasons,
1. It is the only AI with access to the live internet not a best by date.
2. It has grown more in a year than other AI's that have been around since 2022.
3. Elon's stated purpose it to make sure its not bias.
4. It has several different modes since just last night when it was updared and released.
5. It is used with live data from X, if you understand how they train AI the best data is human created date to be trained on. Synthetic data it creates itself to be trained on is more like verifiable things like 2+2=4.
6. Elon uses AI in his robots, cars, and X, so it's not just a one off used for one thing.
CB what I would say is the AI you used just yesterday is already outdated. It's moving so fast unless you are using it everyday you are already behind. The Grok update just last night released voice mode where you can change the flavor you get which is just next level. Also Deep search and think are both new as well a week or two old at this point. But it's like a one two punch.
Everyone what I would suggest is to talk with Grok, have a conversation with it. Ask it to reason, present evidence (you can take pictures it can look at, send it links to a website for it to inspect, etc). Keep it all in one session on your iPhone. It will build on the conversation more and more. Also a major benefit of Grok 3 is being able to see what it is thinking this has always been in a black box. Now it shows you its reasoning which is next level and will actually give you more context. For example when I asked it the same question that CB did about UAP's its first thing it asked itself was "What is a UAP?" and it went and looked it up.
You have to thinking when you first start with the AI session it starts from nothing. It then builds on every question you have. It will reason drawing from prior questions in the same session. At one point I asked it why it was being so reasonable, it responded that it was programed to be that way. But you can ask it to be less reasonable, or to change its reasoning on some topics. You have to remember it's just a LLM running math. So you just have to ask good questions.
I just made my question into more of a math question and it worked much better. So CB when you asked it for his best guess about the possibility of ETs flying UAPs it had to create a knowledge base first and its probably programed to believe .gov over .com or .whatever. So I asked your same question and I told it to discount government information thus altering its default programing and it worked much better. Give it evidence you can take pictures of things with your phone and submit it during the session or send it links and ask it to analyze anything in that link. Right now it's just a LLM and so you have to do a little programming on the prompt end. I would encourage talking with it more and stay on subject.
It at the end of the day is just a tool it matters how you use it. It's not real ET - AI. Years from now it's going to seem like this AI was akin to the horse and buggy its moving that fast. I would stay away from ChatGPT not only because of your RV of what it really is, but the government has its hooks well into it. It's closed and not as good as Grok. Grok has access to the live internet which I think is a game changer because information changes. And since it has access to the live internet it cannot be filtered to a procured subset of information like ChatGPT. ChatGPT takes a snapshot of (what parts of the internet who knows) and then locks that into its AI. Grok does not do this and so it's as open and free as the internet is right now. And the fact that you can change its flavors means by definition it will be what you want.
Freewill AI = Grok, Highly controlled AI = ChatGPT, This is what we have and it is what you make of it. Go download the grok app for the iPhone and have a conversation with it. Read its reasoning or "thinking" it's doing and it will better help you understand so you can ask better questions. Or help you prompt it to get what you are looking for. Think of each session as a bucket and you have to fill that bucket for it to be the most useful for you.
