I also watched a while ago randomly, a medium talking about the white light as a trap, after passing over. But she did not go into detail, apart from saying it is 'inviting', and, it is a trap and to ignore it. Just to say, in my small experience of white light, which appeared in meditation, this is so glaring, so blinding, so intense, and it appears both so intense, and artificial. Like imagine entering the light of electric lightening bolt. It is like that. It is very difficult to visually 'ignore' it, it is so glaring. A woman who experienced nearby bombing, that had uranium in the bombs, described the impact released so much light, that in the middle of the night, her whole house was so strongly lit, she could see a thiniest needle on her colorful carpet. So, I guess they must use some high advanced nuclear tech to stun the ISBE in such a way.
As far as an 'inviting' feeling goes, to me, it comes across like warmth, love and safety, but in an artificial way. It is not real. This is why developing a sharp awareness is so important.

You must remember that, when you are dead, you don't have human eyes anymore. I asked how defending against the glare would look like, and got an image of a person putting sunglasses on. Spiritual sunglasses. 😎

Well, first of all, the sunglasses is symbolic language. You are correct, it's about a filter, or the ability to filter out the negative influence of the false light. Like that guy in the "They Live" movie. He finds sunglasses that strip away illusions and show him the truth of his situation.

So, not falling for the fake light means to not fall for illusions. We already know that. The question is: How can we become able to not fall for illusions? What are the requirements?

1. Stop believing. This is the exact opposite of what everybody tells you. Beliefs are sold as strengths. You just need to be strong in your beliefs, and so on. This is a lie. The false light will show you what you believe in. For example, if you believe that Jesus is your lord and savior, the false light will show you Jesus. If you believe that you will see your lost family members, the false light will show you lost family members.

2. Start asking questions. This is the actual filtering process. The questions don't have the purpose to get answers. The actual purpose is to gauge the reaction. For example, if the false light wants you to go back to Earth because of "unfinished business", just ask how you can finish it with your memory being erased. Demand that your memory won't be erased, so you can be more effective. The false light needs to come up with an explanation why the memory wipe is necessary, and that explanation won't make sense. Don't give your consent. You memory is your property. You have the right to keep it.

3. Stay clean. The false light will try to bribe you. For example, it will promise you a reconnection with lost family members. But there will be a catch. It wants you to do something first. Don't do it. This is where your fear will kick in: What if I will never see my loved ones again? This is the moment where you should realize that you are being blackmailed. The false light uses your fears against you. Keep in mind that the false light will never give you what you want.

4. Don't lose hope. Staying clean means that the false light will begin to use violence. It will show you horrible stuff. Don't believe it. You are an ISBE, an immortal spiritual being. Even your spiritual body is just a projection. You don't need it. Stay calm, meditate. Reduce yourself to the core inside you that is untouchable. Lao Tzu demonstrated how that works.
