So, Courtney Brown is claiming that the "good ETs" he's allegedly in contact with can literally see the future. According to him, these beings looked ahead and saw a timeline where humanity basically goes full on imperialist, invading the galaxy and expanding way past our own solar system.
That’s exactly why makes this whole thing so messy.
If humanity really has the potential to become a galaxy level threat, there’s no way these "good ETs" aren't looking at us with a lot of fear. Self preservation is a powerful instinct, so even the most benevolent beings would have to view us as a ticking time bomb.
And Courtney’s point about them not knowing if we’ll make the right choice is just stating the obvious. Humanity isn’t a hive mind. You can’t just flip a switch and expect eight billion people to collectively choose peace. We have way too many competing agendas, egos, and different personalities. There’s always going to be a faction that chooses power and aggression over doing the "good" thing.
So if these ETs are waiting for total human consensus before they trust us, they’re going to be waiting forever. It almost guarantees they’ll keep the quarantine active, because betting on humanity to unanimously choose the right path is a gamble they just can't afford to lose.
If Courtney's timeline is accurate, keeping humanity completely in the dark is probably the worst thing these alleged good ETs could do. Leaving the current control system running is just a slow burn that guarantees we eventually boil over, break out, and turn into those aggressive galaxy invaders.
Breaking the control system now might cause chaos, but it forces the issue. By waking people up, it forces that split in the human camp early on. It gives the people who actually want a peaceful future a chance to separate themselves from the ones who just want conquest and power.
Instead of trying to fix everyone which is impossible you shatter the illusion, let the chips fall where they may, and work with the human factions that actually wants to do things right. It’s a massive risk, but letting the status quo drag on basically guarantees that dark future anyway.
That’s the bottom line, though here. Right now, it’s all just stories, rumors, and internet theories about aliens. Most of the planet is completely oblivious and just going about their daily lives.
But the second these ETs actually step up and smash that illusion, the entire game board changes overnight.
Once alien life becomes an undeniable fact, the old matrix of information completely collapses. It forces everyone to face reality, and that is when you get that massive split in the human camp. You can't even start sorting out who is going to choose the right path until everyone actually knows what the hell they’re choosing between first place. Ripping off the blindfold is the only way to kickstart disclosure.
