I'm pleased, that finally, Farsight got to the point of looking at Greek mythology.

My long time desire was to suggest Talos for RV. In Greek mythology, Talos considered to be a giant automaton (or robot) made of bronze, whose purpose was to protect Europa in Crete from invaders. He circled the island's shores three times daily.
So, robot-like figure in ancient times? Looks interesting!
