Apologies for posting this in the forum but I really am at a loss. Visa cards from both my banks here in australia as well as a pre paid visa card bought out of desperation have all been declined either by the site, or the institutions themselves have declined the site payment process.

I'm sure I'm not the only one having problems and would love to hear if anyone has found a solution.

After April 7th, farsightprime.com will have an https in front of it, not http. That should fix the problem.

Same problem here in NZ and still not fixed as of the 12th April is there anything that can be done have watched all the other videos on Vimeo but not any more

FarsightPrime.com is now "whitelisted". That means that we have an https in our url, not http. At the top of the url you should see "Secure" in your browser when you are on our site. There is nothing on our side prohibiting the use of a credit card.

I think itis to do with a new law that was past here in NZ early this year over goods and service tax on overseas purchases they now need to be taxed at souce and i think if they do not have an arrangement with the NZ tax department to collect the GST the sale will be denied .

I'm still unable to subscribe via your current payment processing system.
It is trying to charge my CC in MY original currency which is not allowed by the CC system. You must charge in your currency (US$), or the currency where your company does business.

Here is the message that comes from Mastercard via SMS as soon as I try your system:
"Purchase of RS 40.88 not authorized on UNICLASS MULT MC INT last xxxx due to currency conversion to REAL. Please do it in foreign currency". Meaning do it in USD.
Real is the Brazilian currency. You should offer the option of letting the user select the currency or simply use USD.
This is an anomaly only found on your system.
I am a subscriber to many us based sites and services, including Vimeo which host your system, and have no problems with this, because they charge me in USD.
Perhaps you could clarify this with your payment processor.

I think that may be the problem here to as it is tring the charge my card in NZ dollars and this will not work . I hope this problem can be fixed I also never had this problem on Vimeo with farsight videos

We have been in discussion about this with Vimeo. We can see that there is an issue. So, at least for now, we have changed the system to only accept payment in U.S. dollars. This way everyone's credit cards should work. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Hello Courtney. I'm still having declined credit VISA cards to subscribe. I read about problems with VIMEO. Please advise when VIMEO will have solved the trasaction problem.

For those who are still having payment problems for FarsightPrime.com, we are working on an app that will be available for iPhones and Androids in about two months. Vimeo is building it for us now. Then you will have a large variety of payment options.

I'm having the same problem with my card now!! 22.3.24, I'm from New Zealand... I notice the above is 4 years ago !

Hi PL Jackman I had problems with Kiwibank mastercard here in NZ but that was about four years ago and they never explaned why they just said they could not do it . Weaspac cards worked fine and now kiwibank have changed to visa it works fine too you just need to talk to your bank if they won't help you may need to get a card from another bank but who knows in this day and age they maybe just trying to block Farsight . Sorry I can't be more help.
