I dont think that they can change the past , yes they relive it , but really to change the past i dont think thats possible.

I've wondered that too. For instance, the deep mind probes that have been done to various beings just before a disaster. If they had the ability to do a mind probe back to the person doing the RV, wouldn't they see the tragedy about to unfold? If they did, I think it could be avoided..maybe
