I am of the same thinking.
I transcribed the video, as on first viewing, I understood on the premise of the urgency but, in reading through the script, I think beyond the main purpose of the information about a Red Flag event - the additional purpose of the release was a request for paid participation to access of information, and a request for support and funding for a film.
I get the impression that the urgency has an element of a competitive nature - a human egotistical nature - which damages (in my eyes) some of the legitimacy to the true intention - though the message is important.
I agree, the money request and the cost may not be a problem for some but, it is seems like a partition is drawn down between those who can afford to will be in the lead, and those who cant afford to participate will just have to follow along.
In the end we all have a part to play - rich or poor.
The other thing is the tactics - outing your intentions to 'the enemy' before you show your hand?
