I was wondering about the same thing. I feel like the correction is that the Essassani are essentially a faction of the old empire, but on the other hand "greys" are a general species that pepper so much of the galaxy, there's no identifying any particular alignment just because they have big heads and almond eyes. I guess that would be a form of galactic "racism"
