Beautiful light show!
RED SPRITES and ELVES over Maunakea's Sky. Delayed Time-averaging Timelapse.
These Upper-atmospheric lightning events (or transient luminous events: TLE) are actually very short-time events with milli-second order. They were discovered only relatively recently in 1989.

the red sprites or whatever that actually is, it seems to me they present themselves this way by passing through the firmament!
The red ring that was in the video was mind-blowing - I loved it. The Sprites are well named - they do remind me of that.
I can't wait until telescopes improve, to see the many things that are going on that we don't see now. I still want to know what the green light which I saw in the sky a couple of months backs. How amazing our skies are.

CFHT-Asahi StarCam: The View of a Satellite Reentry, 2025-02-17 (UT)
A satellite re-entry was captured by the CFHT-Asahi StarCam on 2025-02-17 (UT).
According to viewers, it was identified as STARLINK-1780(46684).
The camera is located on the summit area of Maunakea, Hawai'i

Youtube Description: A strange satellite was observed over Maunakea, Hawai'i, in the evening of 2025-05-25 HST. It shows a bright beam of lights to the direction of its move. Two more short beams were also visible perpendicular to it.
Note that it is played in 6x speed.
According to viewers as well as the "Heavens Above: website, it is likely the Chinese Space Station. It might be related to the operation of the oribit correction maneuver.
