Your passion seems to appear much stronger recently than when farsight prime began. This makes believe that you really believe in what you are doing and what is coming. If this is the case, then it might be time to step and for everyone to do more. I mean this genuinely with being offensive. You mostly likely know more than use because projects that are just coming out probably were done a while back. Recommendation for future of farsight:
1. Double the number of projects you’re putting out. This sounds like a lot but you only need 2-3 viewers per project.
2. Increase the subscription cost by $5.00 a month to help cover the cost of recommendation 1 and 3.
3. If you’re not invited on coast to coast, Joe Rogan or whoever it doesn’t matter. Pay them for their air time. Many influencers pay other influencers for interviews. This investment alone will increase your subscribers exponentially.
4. Once farsight gets even larger, I know you have repeatedly stated you have never taken a dime from farsight but it might be time to take a salary and retire from being a professor and commit to this full time.
5. Increase conversations with Harvey to weekly, rotate amongst other viewers. Showing the public what is possible. It may help spur the memory.
6. Tell the subscribers more about what is coming as far as war, civil disruption, etc.
7. Creating a template for the post disclosure world. Remember hiding and alienating yourself from the public isn’t what the world needs. The world needs people embraced and loved by the people. Muhammad Ali was the people’s champion!
Morphius, this is a very penetrating comment. Aziz and I just had a 2 hour conversation where we slowly went over each of your 7 points. Honest. Let me tell you what we are not going to do first.(1) We are not going to increase our price of FarsightPrime.com. The other streaming services are doing this, and offering less. (When was the last time you saw a new Star Trek or Star Wars episode come out?) But we cannot do that. We want to attract people, and we do not want money to be a factor that keeps them away. But I hear what you are saying. Something else will happen that will give us the resources to do what needs to be done. (2) I do not plan to ever quit my professor job. There are reasons for that. Forgive me if I don't go into details. But it is needed, and it will be needed in the future. Education is crucial in the transformation that is coming, and I can't help from the outside. Professors that currently exist everywhere will screw it all up if they do it on their own without guidance. They currently cannot even teach a course on the UAP/UFO phenomenon despite the fact that there are open congressional hearings on the subject. I need to remain an inside player in academia for the foreseeable future. (3) I cannot take money from Farsight. Steve Jobs and Elon Musk do not/did not take money from their companies (they have/had $1/year salaries). Their fate is tied to the success of what they do/did. Same with me. But I hear you. You want more. Now, regarding everything else you wrote, we have had LONG conversations about doing exactly what you suggested. But your post helped us solidify our discussions a lot. Even your comparison with Muhammad Ali is great. He broke all boundaries, and he never told people what to do. He did things. And people learned what was possible by watching him do things. He did not lecture the world. But he was the best teacher who ever existed because of how he was able to BE. To do. And everything with him was on some level of principle. Anyway, thanks for leaving your really interesting post.
hey Courtney.
I firstly want to say thanks for taking the time and trouble to respond!
I agree with you on your points.
TBH, if you did increase the price, I'd probably drop out. While I find a lot of the stuff 'interesting', I'm not thinking it's $23AU/month interesting .. (especially with the frustrations I keep feeling - as I've mentioned). Also, it was good to hear on the you and Dick video that the group is doing some $$$ RV - which is something that those who scoff at RV tend to be quick to point out - why ask for money when you should be able to RV the lotto numbers!
I do also agree that you should hold onto your tenure. I'm not sure that our reasons will be the same, but having that credential is important for a number of reasons.
I do also agree with Morphius - especially 1, 5 & 6 (all interconnected) Personally, I'm awaiting more information about FS opening up to more subscriber-led projects! And, by extension, having more RVers to do those projects (however, I don't think they all need to be FS trained, as that actually would bring in a certain bias to the viewing...). I note that FFG allows their RViewers to do whatever methodology they feel like - as long as it works!) I *do* think it would be good for FS to allow other methods to be introduced, so that they, too, can be taught later.
"I *do* think it would be good for FS to allow other methods to be introduced, so that they, too, can be taught later."
Shining - on that statement i reminded my self about Rock Arkie, he does other type of rv, if im not mistaken.
