The original purpose of the police was to help people protect their property, which includes you owning your body.

The purpose now has become the exact opposite.

Let's ask: Why?

Simple answer: Because the police is following orders. Have you ever wondered: Why do they need orders to protect property?

I still continue to have a LOT of difficulty believing that the «cops» are the so-called good guys...

Few people in enforcement understand this (you might already know but I'll iterate it here anyhow), there is a general split between de jure and de facto. In general, de jure = good guys. De facto = bad guys. Most times we see "police" we are dealing with de facto.

They are not "evil by default" but the system they work in is *fractured by default* . It has rules baked in that contradict themselves. But it's not by accident, it's deliberate. People need to ask themselves why it's like this everywhere after millennia of opportunities to review the issues. Everywhere you live, work, play. You are being nudged to claim values and then contradict them in your actions. Full alignment does not work in the prison system. So you fill out pleasant comprehensive reports while you beat denizens hoping the camera is off.

We must confront our neighbors with a harsh reality. Get into alignment or risk falling behind.
