I see no way to contact any customer support. I put my account on hold until Oct 9 and when I started up again I was charged all over again. I don't understand how "pausing" works?

If you scroll down to the bottom, you'll find a so called footer with the links to Help, Terms, Privacy, and so on. On the help site, there's a contact us link:
Hi Adrienne. You can contact us a [email protected]. Pausing stops all charges. When you start up again, you get charged from that point onward. So if you pause for 6 months, you get charged nothing. But when you start up again, you get charged for the month that you restart. You are never charged for past months when you were paused.
