You REALLY have to know the ins and outs of common law to pull this off. It can be done, but I've seen it go badly for those who don't really know their stuff.

Anything involving «war-fare» /always/ requires doing one's due diligence;
And it should only take six months of daily full-time-studying & research & field-testing in order to far-surpass what the cops & even lawyers know since the typical U.S. cop typically only trains for maybe a few weeks (in the manner that Israeli-soldiers are) and law-school doesn't actually teach anything about law; what they learn are primarily procedures which are not actual law.
If someone thinks that they can just «one-line magical-phrase» to be «free» then that is their mistake into thinking that a single self-defense class gives them black-belt ability.

Depends what you are using it for, really. If you are signing up to an agreement and the other party DEMANDS you produce a driving license in order to comply, even Common Law isn't going to get you anywhere.

Either side of an agreement can modify that agreement IF the other party agrees. If they do not agree, no modification is allowed except by statute law.

If you want to sign out from statute law, naturally that also disbars you from having any social advantages that statute law offers. Like, law enforcement. Health care. Education.

Are you really sure you want to go that route? I mean, you choose your own path here.

It's just I have seen a lot of muddled thinkers take the route of "no documents" and they tend to wind up living in a tent and moving around a lot. Which suits some people but I'm a bit old for that caper.

Yup, I have done that, but, I still had a Driver's License at that time when living in a tent...;
I am also probably one of the only people in the world to have been «evicted» from a damn forest. I was of course also a lot younger & less-experienced with less knowledge back then, well, not that I am necessarily that much older right now either (I am nowhere near being in my 70s or 80s or even 60s just in case it sounded that way, but, part of Generation-X none-the-less; the «Boomer» Generations tended to look down upon is with plenty of contempt & made these automatic-assumptions that teenagers were automatically bad & naughty & mischievous & «rebellious» people on the SOLE-BASIS of their age which I found to be incredibly annoying; I also found the «listen to your elders» line to be really annoying when it was OBVIOUS that they were making UNWISE decisions... such as blindly believing in 9/11 and other clearly obviously suspicious narratives).

And, yes, the advantage of the social-systems are access to the social-programmes, such as social-security (although George Carlin has warned that «they» the «owners» of the country are coming for your social-security cheques so that they can give the $$$ to their criminal-friends on wall-street), Medicare, Medicaid, Section-8 Housing, Food-Stamps or what is now called EBT and that other one called TANF, assistance with Electric-Bills, etc., although «Welfare» has a bad rap/rep, but, the «incentive» is what is important, rather than getting rid of any & all «welfare» altogether as is promoted by some people who still buy into the «everyone should work» narrative without realising that it's «slavery» in a day & age when we're supposed to have over 70 years worth of scientific-advancements & technological-progress out of the u.S.A. alone without even bothering to count any other country, such that, the productive-capabilities should be so sky-high that absolutely everybody on this whole entire planet should be able to live in absolute-abundance, with maybe only a couple of hours of necessary «maintenance-work» each day if everybody were to be completely honest, with the rest of our time being freed to be able to engage in other more «creative» pursuits.

The issue for people like me is that I am not willing to «fund» nor contribute to ANY «corrupt» aspect of the «system» and so any of my «contracts» or «documents» will need to have «agreements» that absolutely NO part of any «fees» or «financial-contributions» that I make towards obtaining _any_ of these types of «documents» can or may be used in ANY way that contravenes the «Permitted Conduct» of a Free-Will-Believer in Absolute-Pacifism; yes, that also means that I cannot go about «crippling» others with a «law-suit» in order to adhere to this Absolute-Pacifism religion, but, I can still «warn» people that such things & aspects of the «system» (court-systems in particular) do exist and that they are on a «trajectory» to find out the HARD WAY what happens to people (public-officials) who are found to be guilty of TREASON if they refuse to heed my warnings if I do find them engaging in activities that do in fact interfere with others' free-will-volitions (provided that the others are themselves not involved in any way with interfering with others' free-will-volitions).

Certainly some important considerations that you have brought up & addressed.
