So, the plan of the so called good ETs essentially is to show up and "save the day" when everything starts to fall apart.

So, both ET sides are interested in saving the day for us humans, but for different reasons. The bad guys would also want to save the day in order to keep the prison planet running. But, in contrast to the good guys, the bad guys would do it in a way that doesn't put them in the spotlight – at least that's the theory!

What if the bad guys have no problem with ending the secrecy? What if they have a plan?

That's an important question, because sightings of crafts that allegedly belong to the good guys can also mean two things: 1. the bad guys refrain from shooting them down for whatever reason, or 2. they belong to the bad guys.

Why does nobody shoot the good guys out of the sky? Harvey told us that when they become visible, it would end the cold war. Where is the hot war when the good guys can show up all over the place without being shot down?

It still doesn't add up.

Farsight should at least release drawings of the good ETs and their ships so we can know who's who.

They're escalating up to a war on a timeline

While it is reassuring to think of good guys saving the day in a hot war, it is worth taking seriously the feeling that something about the story as it has been told doesn't seem to make sense.
If this is all about 'Freedom' for humanity, can any victorious army, ET or otherwise, 'make' anyone free?
Freedom is intimately connected with the individual and is not determined by outside factors.
The current narrative about the militarization of the UFO phenomenon has only happened in the last 80 years...that's an interesting fact.
Discerment is critical

It's part of the «cult-de-construction» process... what could also be termed as a de-conversion from a religious belief-system; see, most of the world are still a bunch of rather cult-oriented «black-and-white» thinkers... even if they discard a previous black-and-white thinking cult-belief... they simply end up adopting yet another black-and-white cult-thinking belief; this «intervene right before nuclear-Armageddon» scenario is considered to be a necessity from the Good E.T. Perspective so that the humans will see that there are E.T.'s who exist that are willing to help humanity & prevent the humans from utterly destroying & obliterating themselves... without this measure against the «alien-invasion narrative-control» the MSM would indeed end up pushing a «alien-invasion» narrative which would basically keep the SSP a secret, and, ANY attempts at E.T. Ships showing up in a visible-format would automatically be deemed a «threat» according to the public where, just like «Islamic-Terrorists are the enemy» then «Saddam-Hussein is the enemy» then various «look over there at that enemy» and then «look over here at this enemy» and of course «Russia did it» and «Vladimir Putin» blah blah blah... they keep doing this «one at a time enemy» narrative-control via the MSM; WITHOUT doing what you are confused about it would DEFINITELY go towards «aliens are the enemy» (ALL of them) and then the Bad E.T.s, the people whose names you never hear and faces you never see, yet, continue to make decisions behind close doors that negatively affect us all, will just be able to continue to remain hidden, and, the planet as a collective-whole ends up never suspecting any man behind any curtain...

The matter is quite oversimplified, really. There’s a deliberate simplification of terms and situations because the message is directed at the general audience. I’m starting to understand this now. In reality, things are far more complex. These beings from other realms are employing a method to exploit the situation to their advantage. It’s as if they are moving pieces on a chessboard, strategically playing their game until a new phase of communication becomes available, at which point the message will completely change.

Whatever happens the "ETs helping us" won't be the equivalent of getting someone to build you a house for free and groceries for a year. We haven't even resolved what condition the earth will be in post-war. No free lunch.

It's not complex at all. What makes it complicated for us is the following question:

What is their advantage?

For example, if the ETs want us to be free and are manipulating the situation such that people on Earth can learn what they need to know to become free, it would be a good thing for both of us. But from our point of view, we just can't trust that strategy, and they should know that.

In other words: They can't earn our trust as long as they're just talking. And that's also true for humans – it's true for every being.

And here's the crucial point: Most people on Earth believe in the magic power of words. They vote for politicians because of the words they speak. Politicians can promise something and most people believe it. Politicians can act in total opposition to what they promised, but people will just vote for the next politician who is doing the same thing.

The solution would be to stop believing in words. Humans are like children who still believe what their parents tell them. It's true because the authority says so.

This is the main reason why humans can't be free: They still believe in authority. And the ETs Farsight is working with present themselves as another authority – like the next politician you should vote for.

I thought a lot about why humans are so eager to believe in authority, and I came up with an interesting theory:

It's because humans are genetically engineered to be gullible. It's actually a brain defect, and that defect has been made on purpose, because that way, we are better slaves that don't question why they should do something.

So, not trusting anyone who is just speaking and questioning them actually is a sign of health. It's what free thinkers do.

But they should know this. They should promote critical thinking instead of playing the "savior game".

Well, it wasn't from the beginning, so yes, we can heal it. Mark Passio comes to the same conclusion at the end of his Cosmic Abandonment presentation. It's part of the shadow work, and it needs a lot of will power and courage. That's where most people fail – they lack the will power because of how they were raised.

That's a very important point. As a human, you just can't leave a social group and survive. People who are confronted with that possibility literally fear death, because in the past, it meant death. So, breaking out of social groups can only mean one thing: To create your own social group.

"It is a disabling system"
