An ISBE (soul, spirit, whatever) can't be killed, so there's really nothing to save us from—unless, of course, it's saving us from things like crippling debt or an unhealthy obsession with Burger King.

They would need to save "us" from ignorance, but as far as I'm concerned, that's not possible. You have to wait until the ISBE chooses to not be ignorant anymore. You can help with that to a certain extent, but you can't control it.
