I do respect you work and plea for an open mind. But in order to understand the moon's creation please consider this:
– The Earth was almost liquid at that time, the impact body a bit cooler.
– The impact "cooked" both bodies up, and the impact looked a bit like to droplets hitting and merging.
– The remains of the impact body have been detected at an anomaly of the Earth's core
– The moon shifts away from the Earth as expected as a new body would do having had after such impact genesis.
To your flood hypothesis, at first it sounds very plausible. But the moon did not fall out of a portal like a "plopp" as it would have effected not only the Earth but many other orbital situations until a new balance would have been installed. It would have ventures slowly into orbit for the Earth to adapt slowly in order NOT to create catastrophies wiping out ALL life. Floods are one story. But an arrival such as this would be similar to what had happend to the dinosaurs.
All in all, even if main stream is not followed, the laws of physics show a different generation.
