Yes, pint size free energy machines have the ability to create toilet paper: in form of fiat money, which you then might use as such, when it has lost the value...
But -maybe the end of joking- . The "free energy" question is not easy. Let's assume the neutrinovoltaic guys are not money-hungry snobish fraudsters and are "allowed" to bring their "9 billion investment" to Europe and thus fulfil their self-set "preconditions" to start their production of the 20kw "Cube". Let's also assume, that they decide that they already have enough luxury cars and they "figure out", that a standalone system for off-grid energy production does not require any permissions apart the GS label, which they can put on it by letting sign a simple declaration of conformity, which even other fraudsters like the "Long range Gold finder" guys got to manage by engaging a cheap turkish engineering office.
Let's also assume they find other investors which are ready to give them some of the demanded upfront millions without any prove of concept or they decide to show something real and they thus get the money to produce this thing in masses.
Ok we have 20kw coming out of this 30x30x30 cm box. Let's assume it costs 2000€ and lasts for 10 years energy production. 2000€ / (20kw*10a*364d*24h) x 100ct/€ = 0,1145 €ct per KWh.
Boom.
Lets assume they can produce it in endless masses at that price. (Even at 20k€ it would be nearly the same effect, but it would exclude the poor...) They pre-produce and enter the market at a sudden to not be killed, sawn into pieces and put away by the established cartels and other oil dependent regimes alltogether with Putin, who are joining forces with King Bin Salman.
Results:
1.Sudden Market Crash -all conventional energy investments would be devaluated. Companies would have to write off their long-term investments into pumping, refinement and destribution infrastructure, shipping. Gas, Coal, Solar and Wind Power, E-Energy Grids etc.. All these long term investments: devaluated to zero (considering the early disposal and maintenance costs which will not be covered in mid term any more). The Stock Markets will react instantly and consider this outlook by de-investing. That will trigger a domino-effect. Also Banks & (Pension-) Funds holding these kind of assets, Supply Industry, Climate-Glue-Industry - Gone in one go. Governments instantly would loose a great part of their taxes as people replace their burners with cheap Immersion heaters and cut their E-bills to zero at the same time.
2.That would also effect the prices for conventional fuel, making them explode. (Producers are bankrupt and stop production and/or have to raise prices to cover their future losses and also new investments to change strategy/stay in business.) Governments will have to use tax-money to stabilize the prices to avoid inflation and total chaos and breakdown of the whole economy. The available money will not be enough for this but they will realize that too late...
3. Prices for transport and agricultural production would explode and with them the prices for most goods including food, grains etc. This also because of the devested capital is seeking to flee into permanent natural values as grains, metals, etc. and speculating on the short-term raising prices for copper (which will be strongly needed for the transition)
4. Millions would loose their jobs, would starve and/or die from the raising world-market prices for grains (poorer part of the populations in Mexico, Africa, etc.)
5. A new run would begin for Copper, rare earths etc. (electric motors) leading to environmental problems (e.g. acid spraying and degradation by mining)
6. Mid-term: Energy, and with this all kinds of natural resources extraction: mining, timber harvest (an electric chainsaw is cheap as hell) and transport, pumping of groundwater for agriculture, concrete production, and chemical industry (cheap hydrogen), steel, aluminium etc. etc. would become very cheap. The capital will go into this, to keep it's value. This will lead to a massive overuse, degradation and pollution. Not to speak about the waste from unused infrastructure (e.g. Wind turbines are from really dirty glass-fibre composites). Burning waste would become very expensive... But Toilet paper will be cheaper as HCL/NaOH, H2SO4, Timber and Steam will become very cheap! (Timber only until the rests of the natural forests are gone)
The world is not ready for "free Energy" there must be a change in CONSCIOUSNESS first.
