There are philosophers then there are pseudo-philosophers; there are scientists then there are pseudo-scientists; there are skeptics then there are pseudo-skeptics; there are intellectuals then there are pseudo-intellectuals; there are those who believe in benign educative-rehabilitation then there are those who believe in authoritarian punitive-correction; what is the common-theme ?
There is a sort of dichotomy here; one version is real and based on truth and objectivity whilst the pseudo-versions are based on deception and entrapment; one version seeks to learn & comprehend whilst the other version is only interested in «winning» based on some sort of arbitrary «rule(s)» that have been set by who-knows-what. One version is free-will-oriented whilst the other is authoritarian.
