Here is an interesting article from Slashdot that posits that we are not engineered to die, etc. It is tangentially related to how our "containers" are in fact engineered to be defective in many ways. They may not realize (yet) the "prison system" we're in, but they are asking some interesting fundamental questions and I wonder that will lead to other realizations:
