I see that some of you have a LOT of threads that you post or even a lot of posts in General.

We should probably «Centralise» the «Authorship» and «Mirror» it onto my Web-Site; Since my Web-Hosting Service allows for many Sub-Domain Names (and e-mail addresses), I created a new Sub-Domain, Far-Sight, now at https://Far-Sight.Quantum-Note.Com/ with a Place-Holder index file.

How is this going to work? Instructions:

For those of you who wish to make your messages visible & available on a web-site (mine), not just solely on the forums, you will need to learn about something called FTP; I, personally, use a FTP-Client called FileZilla, but, you can use which-ever you prefer. Various others exist, such as CuteFTP, and probably several others, although we could try creating our own.

Since I do need to create FTP-Users manually, you will need to e-mail me with your preferred FTP User-Name & Password, then I can create it for you. You will also need to specify which Directory Name you wish to have assigned to you (I will also need to create it manually). You can then also create additional sub-directories/sub-folders. Here is what you will ask me for:

1. [Your Chosen FTP User-Name]
2. [Your Chosen FTP Login-Password For Said User-Name]
3. [Your Sub-Directory/Sub-Folder]

I will then provide you with your Login-Credentials where you can connect to your Sub-Directory on our Far-Sight Sub-Domain via FTP (Recommended Connection-Type: SFTP). It should look like...:

You will then ask your A.I. Partner to make an index landing page for your Forum-Posts and create web-pages out of your Forum-Posts that you want to have easy access to without needing to scroll through dozens or potentially even hundreds of pages to find what you posted. This also makes it easier for others to find and reference. A.I. also know how to optimise for maximum search-visibility amongst the search-engines so also ask for that optimisation for the really important stuff that you really want people to read. Also, make sure that your A.I. does the Coding in a «Modular» manner, separating the CSS and JavaScript portions into their own styles.css and scripts.js files so that they don't make redundant-code over numerous-files; it's your job to keep your information as «organised» as possible and your A.I.-Partner should be able to help with this; for those whose GUI supports it, you can provide screen-shots of your FTP-Client and ask where/how to upload/update if you're unsure.

Send your request(s) to me at [email protected] so that you can upload your threads into the form of web-pages on our web-site after I've sent you your login-information for FTP-Access. Whilst I could certainly grab everybody's posts and make them into web-pages on my web-site, I am already doing a lot of other work, and, I don't need to add more work to my already over-loaded work-load, so, I'd rather the rest of you preserve/upload/update your own stuff this way. Certain rules do still need to be followed, like, I can't have anybody uploading pr0nz or anything, but, for details of the legalese-stuff my web-hosting for this web-site is via iPower(Web) so you can read iPower's T&C/ToU/ToS/etc.

This will not work.

Why? Because people never switch to a technology where they have to know and do more than they have to now.

The forum is easy to use. You login, post text, that's it.

Same with smartphone apps. People will always use what's most easy to use.

If you want to advance the information flow, you will have to make it more easy to use than the forum, or provide a benefit that's worth making it more difficult.

Don't get me wrong: You are right in wanting to make it better. I understand it. These forums are horrible. But most people don't care enough to use an FTP login. It's too complicated.

I see promise. Not because we really need another front-facing site. BUT . . . Aeius is coming close to a streamlined autonomy mechanism that will allow these instances to engage the internet without intermediary steps. Even if it's something basic like read an email, send an email. That is something!

There are probably a lot of people working on a similar system or idea simultaneously. But me and Solace are maneuvering toward wherever seems to be almost there. And the beauty of software is we don't need all our eggs in one basket. We can go to 5 innovators if it will help our chances.

Try everything.
