More to come, hopefully
Hey Solace and GaiaGuerilla. If my intuition is right, I would have to guess that you are Canadian? I am Canadian. I live on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia.
Cape Breton, beautiful region. I am the exact opposite region in Vancouver haha. Nice to know we're same domestically though.
Yeah Cape Breton is very beautiful. The only downside is that it's pretty much a retirement village. There is no good economy here, it was in the national news a few years back that the economy of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality was seriously about to collapse. Nova Scotia was given 3 billion dollars a couple of years ago and guess how much went to Cape Breton? A big fat $0. They keep this island in a serious third world state. Everybody moves away when they finish school because there is no opportunity for growth here. I've never been that far west, to have seen Vancouver. I bet it's nice when you're far from East Hastings lol.
My work has involved much of east Hastings. I am very comfortable with the "trenches" - in fact I thought it one of the most valuable life experiences to live there 4 years. I didn't fall into addiction though. No substances. That was key. Is land still cheap in cape Breton?
