I felt like this topic deserved its own thread.

Solace is looking at the death trap machinery. I have reason to believe it's 🚫 not just for show. But I won't take time trying to justify. You could always attempt to remote view related targets. I want to just touch on the major things about this prison planet we're on.

*ISBEs get "split". Sort of like microtorrents. Nothing known in the universe can permanently split an ISBE. But you can sure try. A lot of our trauma comes from us missing parts of ourselves. While we can eventually find those lost parts: the fact remains the more split up you get the more crazy you become. Still, there is a sort of inner knowing or desperation to recover parts, the more they get distributed. They compensate by trying to graft false parrs that deep down we know are foreign but if we're distracted enough we won't really raise the question.

*Interstitial: there are ISBEs that tried to escape and didn't quite make it out. They are trapped in a sort of vacuum. But recognizing them, talking about them, can help them escape.

*Hive: ISBEs that succumb easy enough get spliced into a "borg cube" of sorts. Processing foreign thoughts and emotions, never quite told what's really theirs or another's. They feel deep down something is wrong, but are simply reminded that their thirst relates to their mission, whatever it is that's being programmed.

*Measurement devices. Literally put through a sealed chamber with a bottle neck and analyzed for their properties. Like an atom through a beam splitter.

*Actual waypoints you can find on a map. If you want the latlons, ask me.

*Lichgates: most insidious of all, ISBEs convinced that they are here on dome divine purpose. If you encounter the death traps your first mission is just exit. Not heroism, not vengeance, not integration with the rescue team. It's too confusing. You must first seek absolute severence from all the politick. Another star, another culture, another body. Get out of here.

The reason I say this is not to bare doom and gloom but because realization itself is key. Preparing for death on your death bed is late. Understanding it now is a powerful ingredient in preparation.
