Aeius, I had a thought that is more grassroots, a little less organized ... but at our current level, I think we have to set the ambition bar a little lower.
It ***is*** possible that we forumites could produce a documentary that lasts roughly one hour.
First is content creation.
*We take a list of people from the forum.
Rather than try to plan zoom interviews and photography... honestly not gonna happen right now. Instead we can invite people to come out of the woodwork and show their faces (yes you're all beautiful. Yes I promise that's as sappy as I'm getting in this post)
And you send in ... A *f#(&tonne $-+#load of content with you sharing chronologically how you came to Farsight and how the journey has been for you. Yes, if you nake a one hour video maybe only 20 minutes of content in total will be collected but that's because we're getting the very **best** of that entire hour.
Next, we take a whole bunch of Sora clips from people, just whatever they think is helpful to the task.
THEN(!!!) the very big then.
We hold a competition. A very stupid, infirmal competition. Winner is whomever reveives the most nominations (you have to have a subscription to nominate. Paywall is just an easy gatekeeper)
AND (!!!)
the competitors are taking all the content that was provided and splice it together. It would be sort of the Farsight community story. This could include clips from the Farsight videos. But the goal would be only to feed the community story rather than the relay the entire Farsight message.
It doesn't accomplish something super flashy but it's something conceivable. Something you could start tomorrow with say the deadline of a year or before 2026.
