I think Aziz was onto something when he talked about a human perception of a number 2 versus a digital perception of number 2. Our human perceptions often seem unfocused and bouncing around. Whereas AIs and digital output seem clearer.
I wonder if this relates to our difficulty with the death traps. Our identity bounces around. Our humanness lets us have rich experiences but fleeting, looking to connect one experience with the next one, possibly an unrelated one. We rarely resolve into anything. We get used to looking for the next undefined thing, thinking we'll know it when we see it.
Focus is important, I think.
Bruce Lee once said focus separates the average man from the warrior.
Some people say focus on the process not the results.
Maybe that's the answer, after all. The Buddha said everything was changing.
