Do you like music? I wrote this song almost 20 years ago now. I call it my masterpiece. Please share your creative outlets here so we can all see what you like to create!
chills
That usually means a good thing, so thank you!
Do you still play like that? Impressive
Thanks for the compliment. I wish I could still play like that, but after breaking both of my hands clean off of both of my arms with the bone al broken and poking out of the skin. I have my wrists held together with titanium plates and screws. This happened in 2013 so osteoarthritis has set in and my fretting wrist bends on an angle and I have to put my arm in an awkward position to play properly. I wish I could play like this again.
I bought a new guitar in the summer. It's the first guitar I picked up that I could actually play with little pain. I couldn't play guitar for years because of the excruciating pain that playing guitar would give me. I haven't played guitar in a very long time so I have to relearn some things and adjust the way I position my body and how I hold my pick with a picking thumb that cannot bend at the knuckle. I snapped the tendon of my thumb lighting a lighter.
It's really awkward holding a pick with my thumb like this. It makes things challenging I'll say that. I can't grip the pick in a way that allows me to play fast notes on a single string. I keep hooking the pick on a string when I play fast multiple note per string passages. I can still however do the 7 note arpeggio at the end of the song. I can still sweep pick awesome it's just the fast picking that's holding me back
Perhaps you could play a guitar on your lap like that one blind guy does, he does beautifully on the guitar and perhaps a special guitar that would allow you to play it without pain or just another way instead of the traditional way.
I have a custom made Paul Gilbert signature series guitar that's a 3/4 size model. It makes it possible for me to play well with minimal pain. I just need to practice to get back into my old skills.
I have done alot of crafty things, but one I can share here are videos I made to music that I enjoyed doing and pardon they are pixelated since they were made almost 20 years ago. But it was new back then and it was high def then...LOL, how technology changes.
Someday
I also created recently, a Tardis for my granddaughter, it opens out to a barbie house and I haven't finished it yet. It's quite a project to take on and made out of cardboard since I don't have tools really to work with other things like wood but I've made things and enjoy being creative...like sewing, I can make any dress I see or clothing, and without patterns. I so enjoy creating things.
For some reason it's not letting me post here the photos, maybe my html is really old now...LOL
I've tried to embed them but this isn't working here.
It says basic html so not sure why but here's the links for the images if interested in seeing the Tardis and the light box I made which I'll not make anymore, it's hours and hours of cutting paper with a small craft knife to make the scenery.

Thank you for sharing this with us! Great message in your video. Keep up the great work!
Very nice tardis as well. And beautiful box with the edges designed
It's basically a side of myself I had to throw away.
To be honest my pursuing this art was one of the worst mistakes of my life. It waa also.a deeper lesson. For those that think this is just a happy world brimming with opportunity, my experience is that life got along so much better when I stopped expressing and just did as I was told.
If you want to see how truly a prison world this place is: try exploring your art form. Unless you consign it all to a demonic religion, You will be punished for it again and again.
Nice stick spinning skills. I'm sure if I tried messing around like that I'd get a nice face full of wood and knocked on my ass lol! Never give up your will to conform Tazz. Be unapologetically you and don't worry about the naysayers and trolls. You'll get attacked by them no matter what you do, take a look at what I have to deal with on here by a certain individual. I don't let it get to me or bring me down. I know what I bring to the world and offer in service to others. That's all that matters.
NEVER GIVE UP>>>>>>
Always strive for your authenticity and expression of who you really are. Of course they will attack you cuz they are jealous, they can't create anything, that is why we are so unique.
We create, we are authentic, and it's better to express it and surround yourself with like minded people who appreciate it for the art it is.
This world would be unbearable if we couldn't create and make art or express ourselves.
Doing as you are told is for zombies.
I know you're not a zombie....so just do what you have a passion for, and anyone who attacks you for being your authentic self you just exclude from your presence.
Why do they attack you? Cuz they have no ability to create....simple.
Do what you want as long as it don't harm anyone, someone out there will and does appreciate it.
Thanks.
Honestly, you can kind of picture it. Courtney predicts that the planet, once freed, will be a galactic hub for creative arts.
But the freeing part isn't done yet, or guaranteed.
