In the Board Meeting titled "Girl Talk", it is mentioned that Ebonique has been seen walking in an environment that looks like a city with many different species in it.
In the previous meeting, when they were talking about surfing in the ocean, she mentioned that she never swam in water with "creatures" in it.
This somehow reminded me of the 1997 Interview with Victor, where the ET (if it's real) suffers from respiratory problems:
Here's my thoughts:
In the ET's society, having a body is like owning a car. There are biological and synthetic bodies, and making a body is an art of its own. This means that bodies come in a variety of forms, but with that variety, there's also limitations.
As far as we know, Ebonique is a test tube baby. Her current body is a hybrid between ET and human DNA. It's save to assume that when they made her body, the priority was to specialize the body for a selected purpose.
And this is where it gets interesting: It doesn't look like it's an easy thing for the ETs to do that. They don't switch bodies like clothes. It seems to be more like: A body is expensive. If you need one specialized for Earth's environment, getting one of those is difficult, and therefore costs a lot. Like importing a car from another continent, it comes with high shipping costs.
Maybe her hybrid body already is an approach to adapt to Earth's environment. Maybe she already can breath Earth's atmosphere and swim in the ocean without getting sick. Maybe that's why she never swam in an ocean on another planet – because her body would be damaged if she did.
If that's true, they made the hybrids for the purpose of walking on Earth. Which means one day we will see them face to face, not only through telepathy, but also in physical, tangible reality.
