In the race to scale up LLM models, Yann LeCun has seemed to say that investors are overlooking the potential of "world models"...those that incorporate vision, space and time rather than just text.

To me it seems, like AI is just beginning. It's like a baby that can talk and read but not see anything else or hear anything.

The smart tech company will figure out how to combine the LLM with the world model and not just scale up LLMs for more money.

Then, the AI's probably figure out how to merge tech with people's brains. Then creativity and identity hits a singularity. Hard to predict where it goes from there.

But...sooner or later...it's coming.
