One of my usual random thoughts but it just hit me.
It's actually stating the obvious but I don't think we put it quite this way.
You know when we were kids ... boys and girls wanted to do things that might get them in trouble, but in completely different ways. Girls: maybe if you can get mom upset because you used her makeup (and actually look better than her in it). Your friend finds out you got tickets with Josh and you don't really care about him but she likes him and she ruined your shirt she borrowed.
Ok, but boys.
Can we build a rocket in the school yard and pretend it was someone else if it explodes?
How big a bomb can we make if we take dad's gas can and crush all these gun caps?
If we camp out in the ravine and tell both sides we're sleeping over can we last the night outdoors?
See? This ... this was something they had to destroy.
