I only watched the last video. The problem here, not discussed by the narrator is long known and analyzed in biblical studies. There are major problems when trying to get behind the greek with high confidence to the aramaic. I’m surprised that this piece doesn’t even look at the phrases in the NT that are actually in aramaic. those of course ba e the highest degree of translation ability. Below that are sections of the new testament where the greek is a bit awkward and likely a forced greek translation onto an aramaic phrase. Everything else is low confidence and just a guess by this author. Retroversion, is a low probability game to play. The most likely consensus word that he chose which would fall i. the second category above would be bar nasha or human one rather than son of man. most all christian commentaries pick this up and that’s even our i leanrned the greek translation of that phrase in grad school was to use human one.

He doesn’t even get into the i terering stuff around gehenna, hades and tartarus

Whoops (hit submit accidently) / he doesn’t even get into the interesting distinction around those 3 concepts (gehenna etc) in greek those he is using greek and not aramaic there. There is an unfortunate historical thing that happens with the translation under jerome which augustine later picks up theologically and flattens those words down to infernum or hell and loses the subtle distinctions between them to make a theological move that imo was unfortunate.

He doesn’t need to go to aramaic for repentance but can just use the hebrew which does mean return. And he’s using a lot of his own desired translation into
it. though i do agree that the word repent has been limited to a guilt based juridical focus, while it’s semantic domain is a lot larger.

So while i like his overall point of using original
languages his methodology is sloppy and largely groundless. all of us try to make the historical jesus into our own image. this has been well documented i the historical jesus movement in scholarship and i think the author is doing that here.

I don't think that watching University Lectures is the right way to find out more about Yeshua (Jesus).

The videos presented don't include the Jewish background and context of Yeshua, nor do they include the Farsight updates that Farsight put out many years ago (The Crucifiction Ruse).

If that wasn't enough, we can actually remote-view Yeshua any day of the week, either biologically or with AiRvos to verify or collect raw data ourselves.

Even if not everyone here actually does remote-viewing, I'm sure that for the sake of Forum politeness, if people answered with specific requests to remote-view Yeshua that some people would be able to pick up the questions and pull back the answers.

Let's take that route instead of going off documentation heavily filtered by misunderstandings of translations and culture.

I didn't share the videos to tell you how Jesus really was. I shared them to make clear that believe is not the same as knowledge.

People believe what has been written down, either in the Bible or in other sources. They don't know. They chose to believe words. They want "their" Jesus to be "their" lord and savior, and so they turn him into their personal "super hero".

That's what the psyop really is.

It works because people don't want to accept that Jesus or Yeshua was just a dude like you and me.
