That is: my conspiracy theory of the conspiracy theory of the conspiracy theorists ... Ya.
Farsight is the prime "conspiracy theorists" here. It's only a valid title if you ask me. They suggest a conspiracy, based on data. They don't know all the answers. Ergo: conspiracy theory.
It's a silly word to think about, really. Why would you not have conspiracy theory in even a very liberated society. Conspiracies happen. Hello!! My daughter and her friend were thinking of playing hookie one time. It's a part of life, stop making the phrase out to be something so weird.
Anyways, then there's the "Farsight as controlled opposition"
Then there's "critics of Farsight as designed operatives"
Well ... for what it's worth.
Farsight isn't like ... a group with heavy control. It's an LLC that operates cross platform for other vendors. Like Vimeo and GoDaddy or whatever.
If I was a disinfo psyop: I would make my own video platform first off. I wouldn't hand over the control to some random vendor like Vimeo.
And I wouldn't just leave an open forum. I would use the typical "yeah but we need to filter it first for safety" narrative.
Anyways, some of the theories cropping up are plain silly to me. But that's ok. Silly is ok.

I don't think Farsight is even large enough yet to be considered controlled opposition. Once r.v. is verified as scientifically possible in the mainstream that might change but for now it's like a ship in the Pacific ocean...too small to disrupt the ocean.
Farsight is at least trying to frame its research as scientific with blind studies and multiple viewers on some projects. Most of the conspiracy stuff out there doesn't seem scientific at all to me. Most of it is just based on juicy stuff that people want to hear with most not even concerned it's falsifiable. Here, in our own little corner of the ocean, we worry about that, but it doesn't seem to be catching on like wildfire in those interested in alternative explanations.
For me some of the evidence for Farsight comes from analyzing the motivations of those involved. CB and Farsight don't seem to care about getting rich. There'd be easier ways to become bigger and richer. They seem to have a very specific plan to run the site a certain way but it doesn't seem to align with just trying to make the biggest splash at the expense of the truth of the narrative. That counts for something.
Don't underestimate the potential of planting seeds.
Let's say the ETs are disclosed at some point in the future, in a way that everybody believes it, or at least can't ignore it. People will then face new facts. If those facts align with what Farsight was saying for years, their credibility will go through the roof.
