If my task is to view Santa Clause, you will probably see a fat guy in a red suit and a white beard.
If my task is to view the north pole circa 2025 on Christmas day, then what you see is what's there.
That gives the tasker reason to word tasks carefully. That's why the early days of remote viewing focused on latlong coordinates and time frames. These are more verifiable than naming people and things.
Farsight tasks are sometimes a bit liberal (going to Mars and the moon) , but they still base it on conventional astronomy. I get why Courtney's annoyed about the telepathic Overlay argument. It's put to rest in my view.
I still have other critiques I'd like to see addressed.
I felt compelled to say this because Courtney's explanations are ... long. I just wanted a very brief version.
I just got back into town, so just watched the spotlight on Youtube. I am really glad Courtney addressed the telepathy overlay. That is what he needed to do all along, just go ahead and address things when people question stuff. It is when people's questions are ignored that it creates problems. So what he said about the pyramids did make sense.
I was sad to see that now Dimitrios was also banned though. Not happy to see that. Again, why didn't he just address things with them instead of banning them? Maybe he should have addressed that on the spotlight too, for the benefit of others to let people know why he decided to do that. Of course this is his private company so he has the right to do as he pleases, but people want to feel heard and be acknowledged when they have concerns.
I was also glad to hear the solos are probably not happening going forward. Yeah! That was one of my big issues. Too bad he did not tell us that before my subscription ran out. I had also been feeling like they weren't putting much out, seemed like weeks were going by and we would only get one solo or one Harvey. So I'm glad to hear he addressed that too, and said they were going to start doing more. It won't help me, but will help you guys.
I had already lost patience with very little coming out, and when it did it was from sessions done many months earlier, and of course the animation stuff, gotta admit that still irks me. But he did say they would also keep other past formats like the light board and paper sessions sometimes so we can see the RVers drawings.
So it sounds like maybe they are listening and maybe correcting some of the things people don't like. That is a good thing. But I already lost my grandfathered rate. So not going to jump right back in. I will wait and see.
I think it was you, Tazz, who mentioned in another thread that we could still access the forum. You were right.
