It's certainly interesting. It says the jets were observed October 29th, 2025, which I'm not sure would line up with the project's dates (you can see their progression in the images in the post), however the data provided doesn't support the idea that the jets were the same then, just that they existed (they were there in Oct, but are bigger in the Nov-Jan period's images). Obviously it's hard to say whether the jets are more visible due to angle visibility, etc. But it's also possible there was a physical change. People may say it's sublimation, ice turning to gas as it heats up near the sun, resulting in larger jets. This is likely why scientists said they'd expect more outgassing going forward, as it moves closer to the sun.
That all said, it's cool that the discovery lines up with the project's window. I'd say it sounds like it's at least a physical change, not just an imaging difference. To farsight's credit, some bigger "holes" might make "outgassing" more apparent as well :)
