So, I watched it, and here's where I disagree with David Icke, because his logic is not consistent.
He says that our bodies are biological computers that process the information coming from the 5 senses, and what we see is just a processed picture, not the real world. His argument is how easy it is to hijack the senses with a "man-in-the-middle" attack. This is what the Matrix movies show us – people have real bodies, but the machines positioned themselves "inbetween" the senses and the real world in order to make people not recognize anymore where they really are.
While he is correct with this concept, this doesn't mean that the entire world is a simulation. The bodies must be real in order to be able to hijack the senses, and this means that there is a real world.
I disagree with the notion that all physicality is just a simulation. As far as I'm concerned, physical reality is an important part of reality. I already described this with the "plane of causation" and the "plane of effects". The plane of causation, or mental realm, is where thoughts and dreams take place. It's where all the causes are set, and where physical laws don't matter. The plane of effects, or physical realm, is where the effects of the causes take place, under the condition of physical laws that are bound to a universe.
Think of the universe as a "playground" for experimenting with the effects of causes under given conditions (which are called natural law). Universes have a distinct purpose. Physicality therefore is a natural phenomenon – it's the logical consequence of the law of cause and effect, which creates time.
Yes, physicality is "computed" like a simulation would compute it. But this is because physical laws work like a program. In fact, it's the other way around: Programs work like physical laws. If you know how to code, you know what an "if..then" statement is. It's the foundation of every computer program. If a condition is true, then do this. If the condition is not true, do something else.
Computer programs and physical reality work exactly the same. But this doesn't mean that physical reality is a simulation. It just means that we can't distinguish between physical reality and a simulation as long as the simulation accurately reflects reality.

If it's true that all of our senses are hijacked – like in the Matrix movies –, then we need a "red pill" to get out. In the movies, the red pill is computer code inside the Matrix that opens a backdoor. If you take it, the hijacking of the senses ends and you wake up where your body is in reality.
But have you ever asked where the first "red pill" came from? If the machines have 100% control over the Matrix, why do they allow the red pill in the first place? Why can't they fix it? And why is there a blue pill as well?
See, in the movie, the red pill is part of the Matrix. It's because the machines figured out that humans reject the Matrix, so the machines invented a cycle of rebellion against the Matrix that they control. Some people are allowed to leave the Matrix, not to let them be free, but to capture them in a different form of the Matrix, which is a belief system.
This belief system is built around the Chosen – one person who is supposed to be the savior of everybody else. The Chosen then is the one who resets the cycle on a regular basis. Sounds like the death traps, right?
You need to understand that the movie is an allegory. The red/blue pill is a dichotomy that serves the control mechanism. If you take the blue pill, you will directly go into the light and reincarnate on Earth. If you take the red pill, they will pretend to let you free, but they will also "hire" you to work for them. Another movie that depicts how this works is "Astral City", which I explained here:

You need to ask: Why can they "hire" you? What are you in resonance with? And the answer is simple: Fate.
Fate is the belief that you are not in charge of your own destiny, but instead, are a pawn that is played by higher forces. This is the belief system of Morpheus. Think of Morpheus as an AI – a second control layer – that is there to exploit the belief in fate in order to control rebels.
Neo adopts the belief in fate, because everything that is presented to him only makes sense if he is the Chosen One. The Oracle, which is the AI that controls Morpheus, then "harvests" this belief.
Why do I tell you all of this? Because there's a truth in there that most people don't get:
The machines don't have 100% control to begin with.
You always retain the free will to not go where they want you to go. In the third Matrix movie, Neo does exactly that. He is given the choice of going the way of the Chosen, or doing something the Architect tells him is not possible.
Neo chooses the impossible.
And this is where the actual mind control takes place. The belief in authority. The Architect is the "author" of the Matrix. He is telling Neo what is possible and what is not possible. Neo chooses to not believe him anymore.
So, if this reality is a simulation like in the Matrix movies, the way out of it is to stop believing in authority. Just think about what it means: It means to start believing in yourself. What would happen if people did that?
If people started to believe in themselves, they would manifest abilities and connections that are real "outside" of the simulation. Telepathy would come back. They would discover that they can break out even without taking the red pill. Because you already have the solution – the "spark" – inside you. The spark will "short-circuit" the tech that's hijacking the senses.
So, the real Matrix is just this: Your belief that you can't do it.
