In the latest Spotlight titled "The Architecture of Belief", Courtney says this:
[33:09] "If a ruling class operated inside a worldview aligned with hierarchical dominance, ownership logic, preservation of power through generational control, dualistic master-slave cosmology, sacrificial archetypes embedded in myth, then the actions that are documented on that island do not appear inside their own consciousness as aberration. They appear as permitted."
Courtney describes a psyche that has no problem with doing horrible stuff to other beings AS LONG AS IT IS PERMITTED by its perceived authority. Sounds like a psychopath, right?
This is why I'm speaking about the false belief in authority all the time. The belief in authority is not just an arbitrary opinion. It's the deep conviction that you are subject to another being – a "god" – that has authority over you and your life.
This is not the original nature of the ISBE, which is supposed to be an individual with free will. So the question becomes:
Why do so many ISBEs believe that it is natural to be a subject – a slave – to a "god"?
This is where natural law comes into play. The universe is a construct that is running on rules that can't be changed from within the universe. It works like a simulation. Think of it as a game with a distinct ruleset. You are not allowed to cheat. You are only allowed to play by the rules.
This means that the creator of the universe is enforcing the consequences of universal law upon every ISBE inside the universe. It's a "god" that uses force – known as Karma – to make things happen. If you don't follow the rules, Karma will bite you in the ass. Only if you follow the rules – a concept known as Dharma – you are allowed to live in peace.
Now, imagine that ISBEs got a free choice to enter this universe, so every being that is here initially came here voluntarily, to play the game of this universe, so to speak. But then something bad happened...
Oblivion.
Over time, the ISBEs forgot about the rules that make peace possible. I don't want to debate right now why this happened. Let's stick with the fact that it happened, because it's very important.
Imagine you are playing a game, and then, one day, you forget about the rules. This doesn't mean that the rules are gone. It means that you will make your own rules instead, and that you will sooner or later violate the universal rules out of unawareness. Karma will punish you, but you will have no clue WHY you are punished.
So, the nescient ISBEs became resentful against the universe and began to rebell. This is the invention of war.
Remember Airl saying that ISBEs are warring against each other since the beginning of time? This means that ISBEs don't remember the time before the war. All they know is that the universe is punishing them, and that you have to fight for your own place.
In short: This universe right now is where ISBEs play the "game of violence".
Everybody and his dog wants to be the authority. Essentially, it's a war against the creator (and we still remember that).
The solution to this dilemma is stop wanting to win that war. If you try to do that, you are stuck in a vicious cycle of violence. You will bring harm to other ISBEs, they will retaliate against you, you will retaliate in return, and it will never end.
So, the actual solution is to stop being aggressive. To stop trying to impose your authority on others, and instead, acknowledge that every ISBE has the right to be free. This is the peace that was there before the war started.
The peace you have forgotten.
But, there's still a problem: What if you remember that peace and want to live without aggression, but other ISBEs are still aggressing against you? The violence doesn't go away just because you want it.
The answer: You have the right to defend yourself. Not retaliate. Defense means to set boundaries and enforce them. You need to be able to stop other ISBEs from conquering you. This is true with your personal relationships, and it's true on a galactic level.
If you manage to get there: Live in peace, without aggression, but still able to defend yourself and others against aggression, your civilization will be in balance and therefore persist.
