Sean Paul Reyes, the auditor behind Long Island Audits, still fresh off his arrest at the Suffolk County PBA goes off on CNN's coverage of the cop-watching movement during his appearance on Police Accountability Report. Reyes says CNN reached out to him directly, asking about his finances and how auditing pays. Instead of covering his actual work: police training reform, ride-alongs, corruption investigations... instead the network ran a story featuring two unrelated, foul-mouthed auditors he calls "useful idiots," using them to paint the whole movement as reckless clout-chasers. We pressed him on what got left out, and why legacy media keeps reaching for the worst-behaved examples instead of engaging with the substance of what auditors and cop watchers are actually documenting!
