The hunger for the truth is clearly there, and it feels like the ball is now in the court of the "good ETs" to break the lockdown. However, we have to be honest: any group with a military aspect—even the "good guys"—comes with a control system. Joining a new galactic collective means accepting their way of doing things, which might mean trading our current version of "human freedom" for a different set of rules.
At the end of the day, humanity isn't that different from the "bad ETs" yet; however our actions are still rooted in a very narrow view of reality. While I’d take a Luke Skywalker type over a Darth Vader any day, the real question is how we’ll react to finding out we’re just one piece in a much larger conflict. It would be fascinating to see if all our petty nonsense countries, class warfare, and cultural bias—would just vanish overnight once we realize our place in a much bigger world.
The world is pretty messy as it is, so if there are "death grids" or control systems keeping us locked down, it’s about time someone tried to clear them out. At this point, the biggest shift will just be finally realizing we aren’t alone. Once the "good ETs" show up, it really just comes down to a choice of which side people want to take in a cosmic war.
Even without ET intervention, we’re doing a pretty good job of trashing the planet and heading toward our own end anyway. I’d much rather know the truth and see what’s actually happening than stay in the dark while it all falls apart. Even if we end up making the "wrong" choice, at least it’s an act of free will—I'd prefer that over having someone else decide our fate behind the scenes. It's time to see the full picture.
