What would be a good psyop to maintain control? It would be useful to have an attractive narrative every couple centuries while society drastically changes (probably often intentionally)

If they don't have science: give them gods. If they become "renaissance" , give them saints. If they become political , give them "parties" and "nations". If they become technological , give them "races"

The truth is probably often way less uniform, therefore less simple to distinguish. It looks less like "flavors" and more like factions whose splinters are based on pure fault lines of their exigencies.

You wouldn't have the "blues , reds , greens , yellows" nicely packaged into palatable grades. Instead you have "the ugens that were a bit too bugens." You might "good guys that became that became bad guys that became good guys" . You might have "they're helpful but don't get close, they're also mean." Or "they're noce but they screw up a lot so don't rely on them".

Anyone giving you a nice crisp pantheon package is probably ... the bad guys.

That's a good point.

There are other world 'notions' that simplify things down to 'Yin and Yang', positive and negative.

I particularly like this oversimplification because it overlays cleanly onto our mainstream idea of electrical energy.

Buddhism as a general topic, doesn't have 'gods' (ETs) but they do have important Leaders or Monks. It's quite close to Judaism except that Buddhist Temples are really grand, beautiful and elaborate
because Thailand is generally safe.

In Japan, ShinTo is more subtle, and funny. If they want to represent Kami, they make a costume and go perform in it. Like this:

ok, it isn't perhaps the most 'religious answer', but sometimes always looking back to the Nephalim control in the world just gets too gloomy.

The era of the Pantheon is gone. It ended 4.2K years ago.

Chaos is a teacher.

When humans become adults, they don't want chaos anymore. They want predictability.

The bad guys create chaos for the children to sell them predictability when they are grown up. It's a business model.

They will also sell you predictability via remote viewing.
