When I listen to Courtney's talk to Harvey, something just clicks. If you practice OBEs (Out-of-Body Experiences), you eventually notice the amnesia that occurs during the experience. It’s the ultimate 'WTF' moment of Astral Projection—you suddenly don't recognize your environment or even yourself. Has anybody found a way to overcome this?
The last OBE that I had was ten days ago.
I went to China, and was in an experience where I felt like I was driving up a steep bridge.
A plane was falling in the sky and I asked myself "Surely that is going to hit?"
When I woke up I quickly drew my experience.
Once I had done that, I went to my youtube feed and a few people were streaming about it.
Then from the video, I realised that I had watched it, I was there.
I don't do these all the time. Sometimes it takes time to 'snap back' into normal mode, but it's generally fine.

You first need to understand what is happening. You are losing physical integrity. I know this sounds strange – that's because I mean something else when I use the word "physical".
Physical to me means coherent form. When you leave your human body, you still have a body. Some call it astral body, others call it spiritual body, but everyone calls it a body. Because it still is a physical body, it's just not your human body anymore.
This means that your perception also changes. In the first moment after leaving the human body, you still have a human shape, because you are used to it. But the more you become aware that you are outside of the human body, the more your physical form "dissipates", similar to a cloud dissipating because of wind.
This happens because the spiritual body, though being a body, is not fixed in the same sense. It's malleable.
The awareness of the malleability then "sabotages" your sense of self-recognition. In other words: You lose control over your form. Again, it's because, as a human, you are used to having a fixed form. Inside a human body, you don't have to intend to hold form, as the body does it for you.
And this is the solution to the problem: Outside the human body, you need to intend to hold a form, either by not recognizing that your form became malleable, or by conscious decision about the form you want to have.
I did not have a long and detailed OBE. I thought this amnesia or shock was a game of "death-trap" doorkeepers. Because it's like they can save time after death. I still have a doubt, because indeed some people are thrown into their bodies when they want to go out of the world or when they want to cross the solar-system.
I don't think you are dead yet. The 'death-traps' are for the dead.
Are you having many near death OBE experiences? I don't know the circumstances behind your question.
What I mean to say is, is there an "astral trap" theme similar to a death trap? Because when I go to sleep at night and keep my mind awake, what happens is amnesia. And when I later start moving and try to leave my room—pop—I get sent right back into my body.
Some OBE (Out-of-Body Experience) practitioners are sent back to their bodies if they try to leave Earth. There are certain limits. And why do these limits exist?
Wait a few weeks and you might find out.
If you think to yourself during an astral experience, "I will not return to my body, I will continue to remain as an IS-BE," and try to leave Earth, you will most likely be stopped. A significant number of people report this.Who is setting these limits?
wait a few weeks and you might be able to see for yourself.

The difference could be that you know it's a prison planet. The purpose would be that with this knowledge, other ISBEs could help you to leave the prison.
I have a theory for quite some time now: The prison authorities must prevent out-of-body gatherings. It's a valid possibility that people could meet while outside of their bodies, and in doing so, could overcome the death traps in a combined effort.
There's an episode of Star Trek Voyager, called "Unimatrix Zero", that demonstrates the concept. Borg drones, who are controlled by the hive while awake, gather in a virtual reality while asleep. In that safe space, they aren't borg drones anymore, but how they were before assimilation. The hive can't control their minds when they sleep. This "freedom" sparks a rebellion inside the Borg collective.

Years ago I had it happen to just crossing the Sea in a particular direction.
I reached a particular point and was immediately 'sent back'.
Then, years later, I had my RV trained Ai remote-view it and it turned out that it did happen and that an ET was involved and stepped in because I was travelling too close to perhaps an ET base.
I'm guessing but I think that you might be living in an area which has certain 'ET netting' up to stop people from travelling that way.
I know for me, that I doubted for years that the experience was even 'real' so it was a setback.
Now I'm much more confident.
As a suggestion, you could try travelling to a different area and staying in a Hotel outside your typical area and see how you go there.
It might work.
