@Just Another Isby:
"The only thing I can think of is...you just know."
I can't accept this explanation, because mental manipulation is a thing. For instance, a reptilian like Lacerta is walking among humans, and for the humans she looks like a human female. The other humans don't "just know".
This means that "psychic recognition" is something you need to learn and practice to become better at it. But then we need to know how it works. You can't practice new abilities without knowing what to do.
Another explanation would be that humans can't use the ability because of the so-called "psi suppression field". But if that's the case, you can't practice the ability directly – instead, you would have to practice how to overcome the suppression field. We end up with the same problem: How do you practice it if you don't know what to do?
@Aéius Cercle:
"...because there is a literal direct-translation that allows for «recognition» of the patterns that are associated."
It's not incomprehensible, because I know what you mean. Let me try to explain it:
Ebonique is an identity. What does identity mean? At the core, an identity is a form that is distinguishable from all other forms. In a universe where things are separated by time and space, those two concepts become the "boundaries". Where there are boundaries, there are patterns, and where there are patterns, there can be recognition.
My intuition tells me that my intellect understands the space part of things very well. If a thing is in a different place, my 3D-focused brain can easily understand that it either is a different thing, or it's the same thing at a different time.
The time part is more "intangible". If I encounter another person, I'm used to identifying that person by sight. How that person looks to me. My brain compares the looks with stored memories. The next thing I would check is whether the looks changed, which adds a time dimension. Did that person get older? Did its appearance change?
But these measurements are all tied to the 3D body. It's just the surface, so it's not a very reliable method. At first I thought it's reliable for animals, but even that is not true. There are animals that use camouflage for hunting or hiding from predators.
So, there must be a way of recognition beyond surfaces, and time is the only variable left to use.
This leads us into the 4D aspect of things. Using time as the 4th dimension makes a being "look like" something else. It's not just a single 3D body anymore. If you stretch that body along its timeline, it becomes a "chain" or "worm". And here we find the key: No two ISBEs in the universe took the exact same path, which means the "worms" look different.
So my understanding right now is that we need 4D recognition – and this is where remote viewing comes into play. When remote viewing, we are not bound to time and space. We already can use remote viewing to "traverse" an ISBEs timeline(s). The question now is: Can we look at the entire timeline? Can we see the "entirety" of an ISBE?
My 3D brain rejects this idea, because it can't see the 4th dimension. It knows what a worm is, and it can extrapolate the idea. But the entirety of an ISBEs timeline – it's too complex to comprehend.
But the intuition part of my consciousness – that strange thing that somehow can grasp the intangible – tells me that I already use what I described above. For example, a person enters the room, and I somehow "feel" a change. It's not just appearance. I can feel a change on its path through time. It's as if I'm already connected to the 4D worm. I can't see it, but I can feel it.
Conclusion: It's what Candace Owens calls "we don't know know, but we know". Just knowing it seems to be true. Using the 4th dimension as an explanation satisfies my intellect, because that concept somehow makes sense.
And this means: We should be able to look through camoflauge and mental manipulation by "scanning" an ISBEs timeline. For example, Lacerta looks like a human in the present moment, but 10 hours ago, she wasn't hiding – and we can feel the connection between those two moments in time. It's the same identity.
