I don't personally buy the "NPC" theory. I get the NPC theory's legitimacy as a psychological tool.

It's basically saying that some people are so far gone now that there's no damn point. Why try to convince them, they will casually deny you and even violently oppose you from just simple discovery because they're programmed to.

But since I subscribe to the prison planet theory, and developing my own sort of internal model of it (and I become a big Farsight fanboy because so often a new farsight publication or another annal in the new age community confirms my internal model). But in this model: Basically it's not just a prison planet but a demon factory. Demons can't create their own. They need angels (yes, for lack of a better word) and to make them fall.

This "falling" is incredibly gradual and reincarnational. It has certain parts that are chaotic, and other parts that are very refined, technological, of surgical precision and careful intervention. It's not just trauma, but traumatic reintegration. We need to have this patchwork reintegration with ourselves that becomes a lopsided being. Only then do we become more programmable, whether as AI or organic or some combination.

Ok so you have demons. About as demon as you can get with horns and fire and teeth and they eat children and walk in shadows and all that shit in the horror stories (reptoids, and shadow beings, and more).

But before that point you have the zombie subjects that aren't quite prepared to do evil by its own right but can facilitate evil by being barely conscious of their actions. (the greys, and just very programmed entities). These are also the entities that serve as commercial representatives and managers. Able to think clearly about the marketing without stepping back to analyze the whole state of being.

Then you have those that are on the midline. Not really agents of the demons from the esoteric side but the boots-on-the-ground numbskulls (the NPCs). Pseudoskeptics that don't just deny. They aggressively fight.

Then you have the "fluoridites" . . . I compile this term from the "fluoride stare" phrase. Not that it has entirely a lot to do with fluoride but certainly, chemicals and years of programming. I would say this is the majority of human population today (but who knows that might be shifting now). These are the people that need to have something extreme (not necessarily traumatic) happen to them in order to shift out of it. Like they need to be trapped on an island for years or something. As long as they have a few elements of their typical life to cling to, they will NEVER abandon that life.

Now you have the interesting vectors. These are the ones that look like nuts to the fluoridites but many of them are functionally nuts. They find some functional way to live (not necessarily with employment-derived currency but government stipends which is just our labour loaned back to us) - anyways, they tend to fall through a lot of weird cracks that may not be quite the truth. Many of them get stuck in quasi-religious traps, much the way the fluoridites will fall to organized religion. This includes the channeller-cucks and the channelers themselves (but these too might be shifting)

Then, and this is about the best edge case that we can hope for on the planet right now: You have what I like to think of the Science 2.0s. They are not treating this as something different from science, but refusing to fall in with the fluoridite pop academia trash. Instead, trying to use real evidence vectors and deep contemplation, as well as practicing mentalics of some kind.
